A request we move some stuff.

I put this in the Rec Room already, but I'd like to move all the really personal shit into its own little thread that members could view optionally.

Things like the "I Need A Drink" thread, and all the ones that were made to bitch about CDDA in the beginning. I think we've moved on, grown up some, and have learned from our mistakes, so removing them or at least moving them into a private board would be better. And for I Need A Drink and some comments made on things like Last Man Posting, I'd want there as well.

I'm not saying get rid of it, I'm saying to move it to a place that members could go to rant or get some "help" or advice. I mean its really weird to have the silly Sixposting threads right next to people spilling out their life story. And it makes new comers feel awkward with all this laundry being dried out in the open.

Seconded. I've sent a PM that got ignored requesting we delete the threads that were just complaining about the CDDA affair, I don't recall to whom exactly so IDK. Still I think this is a good idea.

Yeah half the guests that come here, just solely look at that and leave. So having them actually have to register to view it, or having it gone and deleted all together might help. We've let go of the bullshit, and yet we haven't actually gotten rid of it.

I'm of the opinion of deleting the old C:DDA ranting threads. We don't need them and it's best not to keep them.

The personal stuff I'm okay with being out, I feel like it shows a more welcoming side of the forum, showing that people here do try to be supportive and if someone wants to join the forum just for that emotional support then they're totally welcome to.

Even if the rants were full of blind hate, they are still part of the reason this forum was made.

I am not keen on deleting anything on our forum.
I vote moving them to places where only registered members can view it.
