Description and History

Established during the Venator's first travels into space. Johan Arms, named after the Venator god of war, started producing and refining modern weapons for the Venator military to use. In this pursuit a number of weapons deemed acceptable for civilian use were accidentally produced and the company began selling to a commercial market to increase profits. Since being exposed to the inter-system market place they have begun selling the vast majority of their weapons on the market with a few weapons being excluded due to obligations to the military.

They develop weapons ranging from standard combustion powered rounds to Electromagnetic powered weapons. Their catalogue encompasses even space ship based weapons for use in the military. The civilian catalogue is somewhat more limited but mercenaries have been able to acquire special licenses from the company to access portions of the military catalogue. The weapons are not designed for eloquence however, they are designed to kill the target without much finesse or fuss.

Description: The Hammer Repeating Shotgun was originally designed for military and police use in mind. Used primarily in close quarters or in aiding the process of getting through entryways quickly by destroying hinges or similar systems the Hammer cycled out of military service for a period before being re-adopted. during that period the company distributed a modified version to the general populace. Smaller variants have been produced as well for quick use by military or police for breaching purposes.

Description: Designed for consistent and reliable support fire the Devastator is a heavy weapon commonly issued in the Venator military. Electromagnetically firing the bullets allows for the usage of solid metal bullets with no waste. The backpack feed was developed as a response to the need of support weapons to reload frequently, the system allows the support weapon's operator to use the weapon for extended periods of time without the need to reload. The rotary barrel design prevents overheating and melting the barrels and also allows for a higher rate of fire.
The weapon is designed for the use of a foregrip, bipod, or tripod to aid in firing the weapon effectively.
