Description: H&M is built around the principle that faster is better. Most of its ship designs tend to lean towards the low-weight, high maneuverability spectrum of vessels, and they are very proficient in dodging oncoming fire. The company itself is run by a Central Administration Committee that is composed of a number of board members that represent different departments of the company. The company is based in a high tower on the world capital, Vindi, while it has numerous smaller HQs installed throughout its colonized space, along with even more manufacturing plants.
History: It was first founded in Vindi by two brothers, Helt and Meofero Af'imni, when they purchased an old warehouse to design flying machines capable of traversing their home planet's huge mountains. Their first product, the Lettari-1, was a dirigible filled with helium gas that could transport the two brothers across some of the lower peaks of the mountains. It, unfortunately, didn't catch on very quickly because helium was expensive and it could only carry two men. To the drawing board, they came up with the Eft'stoo, a simple helicopter made of steel and aluminum. It was no more than an engine, a propeller, and a gyroscope to stabilize, but it was cheap and it flew. That was what investors were looking for. With the Eft'stoo, their company took off. Soon, models E'S-S1 and E'S-F1 were being rolled out of their warehouse at a rate that they could finally afford to set up manufacturing equipment and start selling products proper. Within twenty years, the brothers were millionaires, producing helicopters, single-prop planes, and a number of more eccentric vehicles to fly their civilization eventually into space.
