They were originally used for hunting, but when the need for larger war machines were needed they used these.

Name: T42-L "Hunter" Walker
Purpose: A light but somewhat frail mech that's mainly used for combat and hunting huge game.
Weaponry: a "Muffalo Takedown" Railgun, a energy lance that superheats the sharp edges.
Armor: Reinforced glass where the cokpit is and plates of dura-steel on the arms to guard, Rest is lightened plates steel.

((Imagine these like the Light Walkers from Red Faction Guerrilla, but with weapons and sh*t))
