There have been some very unsatisfactory changes to the game. Quite a few people are more than just upset, saying there coders have to consult the community with big changes and The Almighty Granola Bar flat out said "No, we don't, this is not a community project." Oh shiiiit what. Since when has C:DDA not been a community project, what the fuck. It's open source and allows anyone to add to the game. I mean fuck, that is how it has been, it was founded as a damn community project ever since Darkling Wolf took his mod from Cataclysm as Whales quit so the community could keep the project fucking going! Saying it is not a community project defies the fucking philosophy of the start of DDA.

Someone should totally start an actual community made branch of DDA just to piss off The Almighty Granola Bar.

Yeah, this is derp. However, as I said in the other thread, dev attitudes toward coding play a part in this clusterfuck too. Funny that after Diet Granola Bar got done bitching about what I said he never actually made a counter-argument to what I said. :V

as I've not paid any attention to the game since leaving(not even played it out of curiousity, just doesn't interest me anymore) isn't Darkling the 'owner' and not The Almighty Granola Bar? But I digress and will agree that no one over there seems to have any maturity towards criticism.

Darkling Wolf was co-owner before he stepped down. He is active on the subreddit. I talked with him on Steam, he said if he did go back into it he would make a new branch and remove about 50% of the content.
