Utterly Mad

Unfortunately, unlife insurance only applies to naturally created undead. You know the kind. Vampires, ghosts, spirits, poltergeists, vengeful zombies, ghouls, ghasts, wendigo, and spooky scary dancing skeletons.

Not covered are raised zombies, ordinary skeletons, constructs, liches... basically anything made by a lich/necromancer. For some reason, mummies are also not covered. Not really fair. Especially to our fine veterans who fought so bravely against the fuccbois during the skeleton war. They aren't covered either, even though they are technically natural. Damned insurance regulations were written by the fuck boys.

Did you serve in the skeleton war?

I was a field medic, which is a reasonably easy job considering skeletons don't need to worry about sterilization. Just a bit of wire and some splints. Things got kind of hairy when the fuck boys came over the line, flexing and talking loud on their cell phones, and jerking off. We pushed the bastards back though, even got to wrench some heads from some shoulders myself that day. Everyday I think about those we lost in that brutal conflict and remember that it's not over yet. The skeleton war goes on.
                                                                                                                             

That's a service I don't charge for, considering it's technically "research." Perfect resurrection is an impossibility, and the general imperfect resurrection leaves a lot to be desired. If someone wishes to continue living after death and not be a mindless slave/zombie, they need that imperfect resurrection. Which leaves them as an intelligent moving corpse, unpleasant to be around until it inevitably fails and leaves them gawping at their own time ruined form sprawled out on the floor. At that point they are little more than incorporeal observers until they figure out how to interact with things or until something capable of harming them comes along and does so. It's not a life worth charging for, otherwise I'd feel like I was scamming them.

It's good practice.
