Kinda weird I only got 1 star by my name  :P. Anyway, I'm thinking about starting up some things, projects, etc... maybe turn this into a more general and broad RP and gaming community. I mean we all have experience with some form of the medium, and it wouldn't hurt to branch out.

I'd say word of mouth, or just simply letting people discover us on our own. Once we get some RPs, stories, gaming groups set up I'm sure more people would be willing to join.

Honestly he'd probably be a better mod choice between the two of us. For a variety of reasons such as him being on almost all the time, and the fact he probably knows most of these guys better then me.

Its not that I don't trust people, and I hope I don't sound hypocritical in saying this. But making everyone a moderator would probably end badly if one of us decide to change policies on a dime, or if we have more people. Then they'd question why we have 20+ moderators and why they can't be a mod.

So yeah, I'd make you mod if I could. But alas I can't. I'm just some neckbeard that was given power *internal screaming*.

I think having one mod per sub section, with AJ and Perigrin as overall moderators, would be the best approach. Perigrin is really chill about things but won't hesitate to remove someone if they go nutso, and this would keep power segregated amongst several individuals.

All we got left is gaming and creative land. That's about it.

Maybe we could also draft back up mods in case both admins or mods are gone and won't have internet access. Because if I ever go to my grandparents I will not be able to watch the forum that much, and if I can it'll be through my phone.

Well, I meant that as a joke. I'm still sore about the no custom titles, though.

The local jurisdiction moderator thing sounds cool. Although, we have a pretty small population as it is. I'm not sure if the need for that many mods has arisen just yet.

Should the need arise I'll state that I'm alright with being a mod for a subsection should everyone else agree to it once the need arises, theres likely far better candidates though since there's a few people around who've been part of the general community longer than I have, but the offer is there should it be needed.
I hope this doesn't come across as me actually requesting it though, just offering the help if it's ever required.

For the moment, considering the relatively small size of the forum, our staff list is somewhat more than we need already, most of the time we have multiple mods active or me or Perigrin are online.
When we're in need of anyone new to do anything though you'll be considered.
