It's a free chat room service thing. Apparently the skype group switched to that, though we've been attempting to use it to do RPs rather then the IRC or chat thing we have, though honestly I'm flexible on what I use.

Sounds great! How do I join?

I would be up for playing in a game of CoC. I'm tired of DMing irl, it'll be good. I think that I should be good Friday nights. Unless I have a band thing. I'm really good any time.

Friday, Saturday, and Sundays are my prime days. I almost want to shy away from Fridays and Saturdays, because usually if I make plans with friends those are the days I'll be doing things. Whereas Sundays are my work days for Monday and I'm home. Fridays and Saturdays could still work, but I'll have to do every other week.

Whilst I'd be interested I would be unable to use a mic, so I'd probably be a hindrance.
I've DMed a few campaigns that went nowhere because everyone I know IRL kidna lost interest, so fun.

Yeah, mics required unfortunately.

Hopefully it does work out. I need to play the crooked Italian former-cop I've been planning sometime soon, but everyone IRL just wants to play Pathfinder, Pathfinder, and more Pathfinder.

Honestly, Pathfinder is just the bastard son of D&D. (I personally don't think it's that good.)

I haven't had much luck IRL either. My friend, whom I brought to this forum, we've been P&P buddies since the beginning but EVERY time we make a new group, new people or old people, it always falls apart because people can't make commitments. So basically the same problem.

I think that's the trouble for most people. Hopefully we all can figure something out or I'll hunt down another group.

Yeah, as it would seem Flower Power Hour lost its, well, Power. I suppose I'll just sit on it until something happens. Until then, however, I've recently picked up a new headset that includes a mic (very nice Sentey gaming headset. Total steal on amazon.) and I've been itching to do more P&P games through Roll20 or Skype or whatever system available. Especially, I have been DYING to play more Call of Cthulhu, as I've DM'd a few games but have only finished one game entirely, which was one that I wrote  myself. If anyone would be interested in doing some P&P, lmk. Though we wouldn't do it on forum because that's too much work lmao.

Holy shit there's new chapters!? Why wasn't I informed, I'm the Kaz Miller of this Mother Base!

YOU PLAYED ME LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE!

Yes, and I just wrote a little bit more. I'm planning on writing more this weekend as well. I'll update the google doc when it's updated.

No problem, once I got into it I really enjoyed the read. And I just read Part Three, which appears to only have a part for Amy

Part 3 | Infectious

Okay, so you got my attention and then immediately took the exact opposite direction I was expecting. I was expecting the two friends to talk and Amy to vent, but instead it went into a day dream, or something like that. It was interesting and like I said not at all what I was expecting, and in a good way actually. I really don't have much to say, all around good again but one thing kind of got me.

'There was a quick tug on her hair, and then a strong pool and Amy felt herself slide right into the pool'
Uh, shouldn't 'strong pool' be 'strong pull'? Or am I missing something?

Strange... I remember that being an error a while ago. I thought I fixed that. Fun little pun, though!

Ahhh! Thanks so much for reading this again Vulnus! It means a ton. Especially since I've broken away from writing it, but this inspires me to pick it up once more, which I'll do right now!

I'm back momentarily to post for FPH, so if you haven't post, post tonight so I can update for you!!!

No! Not dead. Yet anyways!

It's been slow going on my end. Busy and what not. C'est la vie, and all that sh!t. That and I'm just not feeling it since I've been indulging myself in Darkwood and Stasis, while reading Dune if i'm not doing that. I've just found that those things are more fun than what I've been doing here.

But, I will go ahead and make another post because I am enjoying this, I just really need to do this when I have nothing better to do. Which sounds bad, but I'm sure we're all in the same mindset.

13
((Also, I am officially removing the 1d8 system I had. I hate it and it sucks. Everything will now be done through 1d20s. This means that your abilities, whenever I roll them, will be a 1d20+ability score. This doesn't change anything on your end, just on mine. But just so there's no confusion.))

Nicheal struggles to get up, "*gasp* Don't worry.... *coughing fit* its just my ego that got bruised. Nich-*ACK*" Nicheal tries to perform some on-field surgery of some sort to pop any limbs back into place and to ice some of the bruises. After that he'd probably catch his breath and see if he can analyze The Goalie's attack "pattern", and figure out how to properly dodge their shit.

((Man fuck teamwork, the one time I try to pull off something flashy with a team I get literally iced.))

King-Of-Pop(ping bones back into place): 2d8+2 6 (FAIL)

[The audience encouragement and love for you feels you with immense power. You feel as though, despite the horrible injuries, you felt though that you could try to beat the odds. However, it wasn't enough and you fail.]

STABALIZATION ROLL

STABLIZE: 1d8+1+1 7 (FAIL)

Nicheal's health drops to -4

[The audience is biting their nails. A lot of people are standing up in their seats trying to get a good view of their currently favorite hero. They don't look like they're about to let their favorite hero die!]

Jack mentally counts down, then punches open the lid and pops out, placing one foot on the edge and leaning on his baseball bat.  "Someone call for a surprise?"    He asks to nobody in particular, then kicks down the side he's leaning on, stepping out onto the ice.    "Playing hockey?   Looks like I brought the wrong equipment!"    He takes off his current hat selection of a baseball cap, and tosses it to the side, into the general direction of the audience, then skates towards Hockey Thug #1, swinging his bat at their head.

(The audience gets a free hat.   Everyone's happy.unless they don't get the hat))

Hat Toss: 3d8+6 26 (ABOVE BLUE-COLLAR SUCCESS!)

[The Audience is wrapped up in the Nicheal dilema, until they hear the happy-go-lucky voice of Jack-In-The-Box! Their heads turn and they have looks of surprise and intrigue. As hats are thrown to the audience, they feel empowered and more impressed by the sudden turn of events!]

[The camera flys behind Jack as he runs towards Hockey Thug 1, readying for a delightful swing!]

Ba-bash!: 1d20+2 22 (ABSOLUTE CRITICAL!)

[The camera's angle pinches as the bat smacks Hockey Thug #1 in the face with enough force to send ripples through the Thug's face! The slow-mo camera above the stadium catches this perfectly! Hockey Thug is KO'd on impact and goes flying across the stadium gliding and skipping along the jagged floor!]

[The audience freaks! They feel like there is hope again for the Flowers!]

[[gonna be redoing the same action since i posted it too early :v]]

"And now, I'm after you!" Riot Grrl yells, pointing at the first thug. She dashes forwards, drawing her shield and throwing it down on the ice before leaping onto it, using it as a sled to speed towards the thug for an attack.

[The camera hovers from Riot's point of view, and the audience gets to watch Jack-In-The-Box get totally smashed while Riot Grrl rides over to him. Unfortunately, she's out of a target now.]

"Agh... Dammit... Yep, that's pain." Crow grumbles, he attempts to get up through sheer will-power.

Try..: 1d8 2 (Fail.)

[Unfortunately, Crow isn't able to recover and suffers damage. He is now at -1.]

Lucky felt anger rush over her, but she didn't allow it to take control. She kept her elegance, and looked to the camera "Hi everyone! Are you ready to get Lucky?" She twirled her staff around, and threw it towards the enemy, using her raw luck to hit something. She closes her eyes with both of her hands out, waiting for her stick to luckily come back, and hit a spotlight while its coming back, so everyone can see her.

Happy-Go-Lucky!: 4d8+9 25 (ABSOLUTE CRITICAL!)

[While everyone is freaking out about Jack and Nicheal, Lucky tossed her staff. The camera takes position following the staff. The staff hits across the ground until eventually hitting a jagged edge of the broken stadium, and it takes flight high into the air. The conditioners in the stadium at that same time, which modified the trajectory of the staff just enough to send it down with enough propulsion and right onto Goalie's Head and slamming him into the ground and KO'ing him instantly!]

[The audience, shocked and gasping, screaming, etc, they all look around for what just happened!]

[The staff, then, ricochets off the Goalie's helmet onto the glass dividers keeping the audience away from the action, flying into the air, hitting the spotlight following Jack, and landing right on Lucky whose hand is stuck high in the air.]

[The audience is confused and muttering to each other.]

[Then, like a flash, the staff lands right into Lucky's hand.]

[There is absolute silence, and then what just happened clicked with the audience.]

["WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHA JAAAAAAAHhhhhHHH" The audience flips their sh!t. All attention and focus is on Lucky! THEY'VE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE ELSE!]

((Ahhh, @Vulnus don't hate me but somehow I missed you when i was going through in order, so I totally missed you in this combat and Lucky probably stole your kill :( I'm sorry. I won't let that happen again!))

Enemies are defeated!

[The audience continues to scream and shout out for Lucky! However, the game doesn't move on to grading.]

Awesome, Fura! I look forward to seeing those! :V

And I'm really feelin' like writing. Then again, I always feel like writing. Still thinking about what, but this might replace my whole thing for roleplay. I like things that don't have time/player patience constraints x_x

Find a prompt generator and roll with it. http://www.seventhsanctum.com/

I made PULP out of various genres and ideas that I had and just put it all together. Perhaps give it a try?
