The Highway / Re: The Highway: WOW DEREK G8 MOVES KEEP IT UP!

Derek grabs a length of well-used rubber hose from the back of his truck and an empty jerry can, walking over to the rusted wreck of a car to see if he can siphon some fuel. Before he sticks the rubber hose in the tank, he checks the dashboard compartment for any maps.

Derek looks over his pile of guns and decides to always keep the Model 29 and Browning Hi-Power in his holsters, putting the rest of his pistols in the custom center console. He grabs the Marlin, and puts it in the passenger seat. He radios the RV and says," Lets stop at the nearest town, I could use some supplies." He shoves the moldy food into a box, putting the moldy bread in another box so eh could cultivate it for penicillin.

Derek turns the convoy west, deciding that Deliverance Co. can have some other guys take on the Warriors in New York.

Derek stores his guns in his truck and decides to take the lead in the convoy. The convoy rolls out, a large cloud of dust in its wake. (Any side quests for my char?)

Derek decides to buy some guns before he leaves. He heads to Company's gun dealer and sets the electric guitar from the fortress on his counter (It's the guitar from Mad Max Fury Road but gold-plated). He says to the owner," Get me a FN Five-SeveN, 9 mags for it, 300 rounds of 5.7x28mm, a Marlin 1895SBL, a Thompson Center Arms Contender in 45-70, and 100 rounds of 45-70, and this priceless badass guitar is yours."

Derek hops in the seat of his truck, chucking the guitar into the passenger seat. He drives out of the fortress, chucking a big piece of C4 behind him with a 20 second timer before he drives out.

Derek takes the guitar with him, wiping the gore off of the guitar on the raider's clothes. He figures he could sell it for loads of cash to get a sweet Marlin rifle  and maybe a Barrett. He sprints down the halls, shotgun at the ready, towards were he last saw the group.

Derek casually knocks on the door. When the door opens he greets the scumbag with a 12g slug to the face and storms the place, using the element of suprise to keep them, from fighting back.

(lol Derek doesn't have a lever action) Derek guns down many inept raiders with his KSG. Many begin to run away due to his sheer badassery. He works his way to the command area, hosing down raiders as he goes.

Derek admires the carnage for a moment then goes to the back of the truck, hopping on the turret. He shoots at any nearby raiders and the tires of nearby vehicles, the sound of the 45-70 Gov't "Buffalo" cartridge rips through the air, sounding incredibly loud in the garage.

Derek observes the fortress, observation being difficult due to the dust from the massive rolling fortress. He observes a ramp and door for vehicle maintenance and deployment, seeing how the door is made of weaker materials then the walls. He lines himself up and floors it, trying to ram the door, knowing the massive steel plow and solid chassis should make it easy.

Derek, tired of observing the raging battle that was turning into a massacre, took a look at his contract. He read over it, noting how his first and most important goal was neutralizing the fortress. He thought to himself Fuck it, I want to get paid. I'm not gonna wait for a flare that will never come. He hoped in his car, pulled out his sawn-off, and floored it to the fortress. As he raced towards the fortress, he passed various vehicles from the Crazies and Deliverance Co, taking pot shots at any Crazies. A buggy that drove in front of him was devastated when he rammed it, sending the buggy spinning. He continues racing towards the fortress, reloading his sawn-off with one hand.
