Utterly Mad

Darkest Dungeon is a dungeon crawler game where you hire and control a party of adventurers pulled from a pool of several classes as they explore the Estate of the Caretaker to recover family artifacts and heirlooms. Unfortunately, the Caretaker's predecessor involved himself in... Some less savory hobbies. Stuff like communicating with Old Ones and dark magic. The Estate is not a safe place to be, and while your party is skilled, they aren't prepared for what they will meet inside the Estate. Besides health, your party members also suffer stress damage that causes various afflictions, and once stress hits it's cap, your character suffers a terrible disorder such as Paranoia or Irrationality that severely decreases their performance and can also lead to the rest of your party succumbing to the stress too.

This thread is for us to discuss the game. Tips, strategy, party set ups, questions, stories. Go for it.

If you're down for it, go for it! It's pretty sweet, but hard as hell. I think you'd really enjoy the style it's got going on though, Forrest :p

Is there any good way to heal characters outside of battle? I can't seem to be able to use heal magic outside of battle which is annoying as the only thing that seems to heal is food... by 1 HP.

See that bundle of wood planks? Activate it, some characters can heal others.

that is only for longer missions, where you will have to camp at some point.

How is it ruined, you're literally my best character. You never go insane, and you're a fucking tank in my game.
