Yeah the spoilers are a problem.

I'd recommend playing with mods too, maybe. Preferably go with one that alters as little as possible and just bugfixes. The Complete mod for SoC is pretty good for that from what I've been told, adds a few new features that make the game more enjoyable without changing anything important.

I am guessing SoC is buggy as fuck then? I haven't played any of the Stalker series so I wouldn't know. I would totally be down to playing it if I can get it cheap. (or someone giving it to me )
