This sounds delightfully buggy. Any reason why this couldn't have been a ROM hack instead? :V

They didn't want to make a rom hack. I imagine using RPG maker was an easier endeavor. I've played pokemon shiny gold before, it has it's own problems. It's good, but it still crashes and has bugs.
