Also, I was thinking, a good Mechwarrior style game hasnt been released since MW4 Mercs over 10 years ago. Im going to fucking make one. if MWO and MWLL are going to be shitty multiplayer only games, im going to make my own Singleplayer Mech sim. its going to take fokin forever, but i just want to play a mech game so bad.

You know what would be cool, if someone could make a StoryNexus game. That has a potential for great interactive storytelling, and I know that a bunch of your guys are fantastic writers. It uses the Fallen London engine, by the people who made Fallen London but mechanics a little simpler and less polished.

Yeah, I'm Bumping this, with some news.
I finally got started on an actual major project. A major mod for Morrowind, as the engine is old and fairly easy to understand by comparison, and the game already looks like ass so i dont need to mess with modeling much yet. I already got Character Generation, a starter area, and a Note to set up the plot in it with only an hour and a half of work or so, so its off to a good start. Doing a great big mega dungeon.

Neat, I'd probably stream it once it's done.

In other news I've actually decided to start a smaller project in Gamemaker, basically its another shitty 2D pixel art game where you're in a club and you survive waves of enemies. That's basically it right now, after I get the assets and the thing actually made I'm going to see if there's a way to program the dance floors, the lights, and whatever else I want to flash, pulse, or move to the beat of whatever song is on.

I want a wave survival game that plays your music in the background, and your music actually influences some of the environment.
also there's going to be an SCP-like story about how you and many other people volunteer to get killed in this Nightclub (that has an eldritch creature in its sub basements) in order to appease an evil deity that enjoys watching mortals suffer and try to survive as long as they can against increasing odds. Its going to be like an analogy for The Player, each sacrifice (game) is judged by you, if you get a short run you may be appeased and close the game satisfied until you get consumed by bloodlust once more or you may not be appeased and decide to play another round to try and get farther in this run (AKA: the sacrifice must fight harder to appease you).

Of course this is all just flavor text that gets unlocked the more you play and the further in you go, but I'm hoping for the really later rounds (Round 50) that reality begins to break apart in The Club and more then just dudes with guns get sent in, I'm talking fighting Eldritch beasts and shit when you start getting to the really high rounds.

I AM STILL NOT DONE WITH THE SECOND LEVEL WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.
But anyways, the first level is super ultra mega polished! Except that final red boss. But it's going to be polished as well whenever i can!

I really can't say what are the changes, it has been so long! But anyways, some new stuff:

-DASH and BULLETS are MUCH BIGGER. More dakka. Also, the DASH gets bigger with you.
-Improved enemy spawning, now they are more random.
-LOTS OF PARTICLE EFFECTS.
-Explosions. They also destroy other enemies.
-New POWERUP: Shield, temporary invencibility basically.
-New POWERUP: Explode! Makes everything always explode when dying.
-More health per level. It just wasn't enough.
-Arcade Mode is TOUGH AS NAILS now. Because apparently i have lots of fun with that.
-It also has BOSS ENCOUNTERS. Which are wayyy harder thant he career ones because they come in groups.
-Some really bad SPEECH BUBBLES. I had to make it extra cheesy.
-Bosses are AWESOME.
-The menu is a little bit prettier. Though ill revamp it completely later.

-The two arenas next to the arcade arena are completely unfinished stuff, sorry!
-As is the next level after you beat the red boss. Also the red boss is really stupid.
-Particles showing up when you pause are something youll have to bear with for now, as who knows if i will be adding more particles, or even delete them, so for
now i'll just let them stay there until i begin making them dissapear!
