The Survivors
The Beach Bonanza
((If you want to stop her in any of her actions in the post, feel free. Just say where you cut her off and what happened next.))
The woman speaks again, just barely audible. Her voice is raspy, and while her skin is cold her breath is feverishly hot. "I said..." her hand slowly moves into her coat pocket. "State your name... Rank... And reason for being... On this vessel." She whispers. With that, she pulls from her coat a silvery snub-nosed revolver and places the barrel gently against Holland's neck.
The Rooftop Bop
You ponder the philosophical meaning behind all this...
But all you find yourself thinking about is cheese.
The Rescue Team
Perigrinium
You lay into the trigger of your gun, missing the first shot, and the second, but manage to hit one mutant on its shoulder with the third. It keeps coming. Two-Paw walks up to your side and faces the oncoming group, and lets off another cannon shot. It blows one of the monsters into a huge blast of blood and bits. You no longer see a mutant, but a blood stain on the pavement. Pieces of bone, tissue, and gooey matter rain down on the monsters. Two other mutants are thrown to the ground by the explosion. An eyeball bounces off your helmet.
It looks like they're all about twenty yards away, now.
Marcus
You get your murder on. The revolver kicks with each shot, the sounds echoing through the abandoned street, and you let them off in rapid succession.
One. You miss. Damn.
Two. You hit one right in the breast, and the hole left in it is about the size of a baseball. It's left arm drops off and onto the ground, having nothing to hold on to. Blood and pus gushes out of the wound, and it stumbles to the ground, unable to continue.
Three. You miss completely, and the bullet ricochets off into the distance.
Four. Another miss.
Five. Critical! Your shot is placed so masterfully, so beautifully, that it blows through one mutant brain and slices through another just behind it. Both heads explode outwards, leaving small stumps of jaw and neck. They crumple to the ground.
Six. You fire, and hit one in the gut. The shot rips through it, spraying blood, and it's knocked to the ground, but it doesn't look dead.
