The Year is 1932
Countries have fallen and regrown as new coalition nations.
Among these are two sides, One side is known as the Maxim Alliance.
The other side is known as the Sturm Stahl Coalition, or Storm Steel Coalition.
The two sides have been locked in conflict since the fateful beginning of war in 1914.
Small countries remain independant of both sides...but conflict escapes few.
The Americas split into factions following the dreaded civil war and have remained seperated and weak.
Companies have risen to great power, supplying the ordinance to supply a conflict of this scale.
One of the last neutral safe havens are found in Japan which has managed to keep itself completely isolated thanks to hundred foot walls surrounding the entirety of the country, a feat not before seen since the great wall of China. With it is also Australia which is kept neutral thanks to it's location and the help of the natives.
In reality, despite not wanting conflict this brings the countries on both sides to the following.
Maxim-UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Portugal
Sturm Stahl- Germany, Austria, Balkans, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus/Baltic Sea countries, Russian Remnants, Remainder of Asia minus Japan.
Technology has advanced during this time as well, tanks have mainly been replaced with the clunky and tough Walkers; Machines powered with steam engines and manned by crews of soldiers and pilots.
You are a soldier for the Sturm Stahl on the warfront of Finland, serving under the 112th Infantry Regiment.

Mechanics:
Food, Water, Surgery- You won't have to worry about any of these unless you go behind enemy lines for extended periods of time. All of this is taken care of by Command.
Ammo- Everyone starts out with two clips of additional ammo for their weapon, this can be refilled at Homebase.
Fighting/Actions- Whenever combat occurs you will have six action points to do things.
Shooting takes one AP.
Aiming takes one AP and increases your likeliness to hit by five.
Reloading takes two AP for loading in a clip/magazine of bullets, reloading individual shot weapons takes a AP per bullet.
Melee- One AP.
Movement- One AP per five feet.
Burst Shooting- One AP but minus 7 accuracy, fires three shots.
Accuracy and Damage-
First off, there are no health points. If you get shot you will probably die.
Accuracy is based first on the range from a target and which gun you use. This means it will be more difficult to fire a shotgun at a target that is sixty feet away then at ten.
Accuracy simply checks whether or not you hit the target and where.
Damage is based upon both the gun you are using and where you hit the target, like I said this is not measured in terms of HP but rather realism. Getting shot with a handgun in the leg is much less lethal than being shot in the skull with a rifle.
All in all, don't worry too much about the measuring of Accuracy and Damage...i'll take care of that.

The Current State of the Americas
Currently, the Americas are locked in brutish faction wars with eachother, no faction really allies with another but simply may not attack eachother.
There are four main factions in NA
Patriots- This faction is focused solely on the conquest of the other factions and creation of a singular North America
Confederates- This faction controls most of Mexico as well as parts of southern NA
Industrialists- This faction is focused on the creation of industry and the turning of a profit and will gladly eliminate any who stand in that way. Controls most of the Western USA
Independants- While not technically a faction with a purpose, this encompasses most of Canada and the Northern USA. They simply are trying to get by through tactics of banding together.
