Feel the !!HYPE!!

And yeah, fuck turrets. I liked them much more in older versions.

Also as a sidenote fuck NPCs being able to unload a semi-auto weapon into you in the course of one turn.
Area Record 1782:
Date: 08/29/██

Event: An elderly human feeding itself to a group of kakapo. Did not express pain, appeared ambivalent.

I had this mental image of wilson, hand crafting a character to be an unbelievable badass and playing him as such, but the RNG is constantly fucking with him and he ends up stumbling through his turn in a hilarious series of misadventures.

I like it when turrets run out of ammo though. Their pitiful beeping and booping is adorable. I resolve to tame turrets and name them Gustav.

It would be neat if you could walk up to them after they run out of ammo and write on them with a permanent marker.

Vehicle-mounted turrets are sexier though. ;w;

I could make some deployable vehicle turrets next time I play and just deploy them places...

There probably is some fold-able gun-turret out there.

True. And you can't name your vehicle turrets Gustav.
Unless you are being sarcastic, or I'm missing something, I'm pretty sure you can name a vehicle turret Gustav if you so desired.
Will friendly turrets or vehicle turrets fire on NPC's?

I'm being silly. First time I encountered a turret that ran out of ammo, I declared it to be my new pet, and jokingly named it Gustav. This has since been my inexplicable nickname for ammoless turrets.

Actually, when I think about it, keeping an aggressive turret as a "pet" is better than a friendly one. The aggressive one may be out of ammo and so otherwise useless, BUT it does greet you when you walk into the room.

Exactly. It beeps and boops. And thus, it boops the snoot?

At least, they used to. I think lately I've only seen the beep messages, not any booping. D:
