Utterly Mad

Kathrine immediately sits up straight, putting her hand on her chin in a thinking pose.   "Uhm...  No...?   Why would anything bite me?"   Kathrine looks confused.  "I saw this biiiiig robot though!"  She jumps to her feet, holding her hand just above her head.   "It was really big and didn't have legs or wheels and it had LASERS and it was really cool but also scary so I left it alone but I remember where it was if you want to go-"  She pauses to breathe.  "Go and get it."
She's smiling again as she sits back down, legs crossed.   "Who are you?"

While all this was going on, catnip was busy eating. Her body was making up for all the changes it had gone through and burning through calories faster than catnip could take them in. She hoped that Quinn and Dervish had come up with something.

Later, Dervish came to catnip with a familiar looking thing in his hands. "Ok nip, Quinn and I have figured out a way to reverse engineer the device you found. Put this on your arm." Catnip was reluctant to use it, but if Dervish said it was good, well... she'd have to trust in Dervish. He strapped the spider like object down to her shoulder and it immediately went to work. She was filled with the same strange weakness that had overcome her when she'd put the other one on, but it lacked the nauseating effect. She felt that receed, and watched as her tough claws went soft and then fell away to reveal somewhat shorter fingernails. She felt like something was drawn out of her, while something else was breathing a breath of soothing fresh air into her. Best of all though, she didn't feel so hungry anymore.

Quinn grabs a couch cushion to sit on whilst he talks with the catmaid. "I worked with anomalous artifacts.
 Like ahm..." Quinn unsheathes his sword, a silver arming sword. He holds the grip flat in his palm with the blade resting against three fingers, "Like this, this is an artifact. In responce to lesser essentia transit product, and a firm grip..." He tightly grips the sword, the sword starts to glow brightly, "It glows brightly with intense heat." Quinn swats away Katharine's hand as she reaches to touch, ,"No touching. Hot, it'll burn you."

"AOR 13, Subclass 2, under the jurisdiction of Research Director Kinder. Haven't worked with... Commercial Mutants." Quinn says, he raises an eyebrow, "How were they "mean""?

"U-uh. A whore is-" Quinn clears his throat, "A whore is a-" Quinn looks around the room. "A nice woman, Yeah. That."

"Floyd doesn't have a tail, no. He isn't a cowboy either, more of a gunslinger." Quinn lets a breath out through his nose, "Don't- Don't call Catnip mistress. Her name is Catnip, not mistress. You are not a servant anymore, you're a human being." He rapidly points towards the catmaid and himself a few times, "Repeat that back to me. You are a human being."

"Catnip is currently goin through...treatment dear. She is fine but will not be jointing us for a while.", Roxanne explained to katherine, "By the way, doctor quinn may have gotten the meaning of the word 'whore' wrong...so don't go around using it ok?"

"I am never gonna live this down am I...", Roxanne though to herself. "We kath...It means when someone...",Roxanne was very uncomfortable with the subject an explaning it to what seemed like a child made it worse,"It's when someone is very friendly with alot of people...very freindly indeed... also, you don't have to apologize, just refrain from calling people that."
