Not an RP announcement, but it is Highway related and very important.

I'm going to make a lore thread that basically spoils everything that I have planned, most of the secrets about the backstory, and all sorts of fun stuff containing information about the mutants, races, and how fucked I made America this time.

If The Highway was following a "Mad Max" timeline, The (current) Highway would basically be Mad Max 1. While nukes have gone off (several times), civilization is still somewhat there, but is basically a chaotic mess of fractured nations, states, and governments trying to get a foothold on what could be described as a "muddy-slope... in the rain".

Rewrote this a bit, nukes have gone off, civilization has crumbled more then once, and its kinda a vicious cycle of building and destroying. More areas are more civilized then others, and much of the world is basically a mad-dog free-for-all.

Also I saw Fury Road, I love it, I love it so fucking much that I haven't even stopped smiling. I didn't expect there to be emotions and humans dealing with tragedy and the horrors of the apocalypse. But I also didn't expect the action to be THAT GOOD! LIKE HOLY FUCK! If I could watch it 8 more times, I would and I could.

So I'm going to go silent, get the updates and lore thread out, and I'm not breaking that promise this time. I will get this done.

I loved Fury Road.  The cars they built for that movie were so great, and all the little touches they had showing the cultures of each group were amazingly done.

I'm hoping to do something similar with The Highway. And that's what I thought was kinda funny about the RP, even though its named after something that supposed to have a lot of cars on it, there isn't really that much in the way of car combat or cars.

But let me tell you this, when we finally get around to what I would consider the catalyst of The Highway (IE fighting the Raiders) expect something on the level with Fury Road. I know its all text and dice rolling, but I want you guys bouncing from car to car, burning shit with napalm launchers, and tearing apart armored cars with grappling hooks and harpoons.

Okay, I'm done making RPs for a while. Those of you who might be on Iwaku might see me port some stuff over to see if there's any appeal there, but I'm not making anything new. Just think I need to take a break, I'll still participate in any RPs I sign up for.

Uh, for those who don't know/don't know what it is, I made a new RP called The Lost City, it's a bioshock esque rp where it takes place in a city over-run by drugged out psychos, you play as one of the few sober people. The druggies are called Dead Eyes, think a mixture of Fiends from New Vegas, tribals from The Forest, and splicers from, you guessed it, bioshock. Their behavior is a mixture of The Tribals, and the splicers. The fiend part are them being druggies and their lines.

Okay got one up, might make another to liven things up around here. Probably something involving the 1920's and prohibition...not at all related to The Royal Rose actually just think that's a really interesting setting.
