Jesus my 12 year old brother and sister, and my 14 year old sister are better Call of Cthulhu players then these dumbasses. At least my younger brother finally found out that 'killing' things isn't the main draw of the game (I read him the description of Cthulhu to give him an idea why guns are practically useless, as he was hellbent on getting a 50. Cal. After what I said about Cthulhu he quit asking.). I'm still organizing a game (going to run a small homebrew of the usual "you investigate a haunted house" so I can get a grip on how to play it, then run some adventures out of the manual, then finally start to work on a Mask of Nyarlathotep campaign as the book came in with my dice.)
Also I wouldn't mind joining a CoC game over the IRC or Skype. I'm the kinda personal that learns from doing/seeing, reading examples out of the book is one thing, but actually playing or watching a session is another.
On my down time in rehearsals, I've managed to read both the investigator handbook and the CoC 7th edition core rule book. Needless to say the second I'm free from the chains that are musical dance theater, I'm hybernating with some pals and getting to some playing.
(p.s. aj, what scenario did you play? if u played one from the booklet, that is. ((i'm doing amidst the trees because ???)))
Also yeah Footloose, I have one more show tomorrow night and then I'm fucking done. So done. Done. do- so i can finally continue Sunken Harbors.
