(since you're the only one posting right now I'll just go ahead and do a time skip)

Lyrkan took the Kings orders and went to have them executed. He moved with purpose as the entourage parted in front of him and two guards fell into step behind him. He quickly disappeared around the corner to carry out his duty.
The armory meanwhile was massive in size with the walls and ceilings coated in gold with a marble floor. The Kings armor stood on a mannequin with his personal weapons on a nearby rack. In the armory was anything from bows and arrows to the finest Dwarven swords and axes.

In the coming weeks soldiers arrived from the Kingdom of Harrowfeld and the Elven houses. They were met with welcoming parties though Haralus knew some of the noble families of the dwarves bore suspicion against the people of Harrowfeld. For a long time it appeared that the Imperial Monarchy would not be sending official aid from their army until only a week before the expedition was to be carried out. They arrived and immediately paid to have one of the cities inns to themselves and there was a noticeable drop in illegal actions in the area surrounding the inn.
The Elven Houses had sent two thousand of their warriors with a compliment of five hundred healers and other necessary troops, and Harrowfeld had sent two thousand five hundred men, and the Imperial Monarchy had sent one thousand men. Combined with an additional thousand men from the various towns in the Elven Houses, Harrowfeld, and the Imperial Monarchy. there was a sizeable army awaiting the Kings orders. The only request from any of them was an audience with the King from the Imperial Monarchy's commander.
Haralus had heard of this man, young by human standards the man was only twenty-four and bore the rank of the Monarchy's third highest commander as well as numerous commendations from her Majesty and his direct superior.
The letter of request he sent read
"To his Royal Highness Lord Haralus Thornbeard, King of the Highland Dwarves, Protector of The Gullies, and Guardian of the Rock
Her Majesty received your request with much interest and sent myself and a thousand men to aid you with my personal legion coming within two weeks time of my arrival. I would seek to speak with the King whom will lead my men and myself into these caverns and directly address the concerns of her Majesty and myself as well as answer any questions as to the capability of my men.
With the highest of regard from Borrin Longguard, Commander of her Majesty's forces."
