Typical. Our Norenfal "commander" can't even bother to address his mixed taskforce in something we all speak. Kiran considers posing his questions in his own language as well, but puts the thought out of his mind - obviously petty.
"Two questions." he says, addressing the room in basic, "Is it wise to send us into a location where we will likely engage in combat, when we have no idea who our informant is, and might mistake him for a target?" He pauses for a fraction of a second, allowing the translator to catch up for those few, who, for whatever reason, don't speak the most common language in the galaxy. "Secondly, if you want these men alive, will you be providing some equipment to us with which to accomplish this? Perhaps some gas from our Mortalis comrades?" He motions at the others in the room. "I cannot speak for these, but I have nothing but deadly weapons in my current possession."
He debates also bringing up his discomfort with one of the most important members of the team being, essentially, a mortal enemy to him and his people, but holds his tongue. The Mortalis usually aren't bad sorts individually, and if the team lead is even remotely competent, things should go alright.
