Utterly Mad

Girlfriends parents were meant to be gone for a week so I was staying for the week. Now usually I'm not allowed past the second floor because the bathrooms are on the second floor, her bedroom is on the fourth floor, anyway, this pretty much means they didn't know I was staying and I wasn't supposed to be, her dad would murder me for even suggesting the idea of staying the night.

So while we were enjoying a shower together she suddenly leaps out of the shower because her mum had messaged her saying they were on their way home, so I have to get dry and dressed and run around the house collecting any evidence of me planning on sleeping there, come up with a story as to why I was still there at 2AM only for her mum to then be okay with it and say I could sleep on the couch because they wouldn't be home until 6AM.

So here I am, lying on her couch in a sleeping bag with her dog while she's super comfy in bed because her parents are about to be home.

That is kinda funny. Are you sure you didn't enter a romantic comedy without realizing it? Because that sounds just like something that would happen in one of those.
