Needless to say I think I am haunted, I see things out of the corner of my eye and hear things that aren't there... this is only at my house. School, and everywhere else is completely fine.
It's actually quite common, before I moved I used to get stuff like that all the time, but only at home, since I've moved I don't get it anymore because where I am now doesn't quite 'feel like home' yet.
I'm sure there's a name for it but it's a weird thing people do where you feel somewhat threatened or followed in your own home because of a territorial instinct we still have to protect what's ours, so we feel slightly more on edge in our own homes than we do outside because of our instinct to protect our homes, which leads us to getting spook'd.
Also why your house feels more threatening at night or when home alone, because at night, or when alone, you're less able to fight off predators so you naturally feel more uneasy, thus leading to being spook'd
So basically running up the stairs before something grabs you from behind when it's dark is a totally logical thing to our subconscious minds, but in reality is pretty fucking silly because it ain't gonna happen.
