So I might be getting my first gun pretty soon, which is really cool.

S&W Third Model, double action. .38 Smith and Wesson, which is a really cool old, old caliber. Buffalo Bore makes .38 S&W rounds that still have terminal capability, as opposed to the cheap, underloaded, lead-round-nose stuff usually made for it nowadays.
