Aya, as I said I wasn't shitting at you, just the idea of "2016! worst year!"

It's been an... educational year to say the least.

Yeah I didn't think you were directing it at me and I even agree with the point so no ill will there. I was attempting to point out the term 'worst year' is really a kind of subjective thing. I agree there's been a lot of complaining into an echo chamber of people agreeing with the complaints which is frustrating, especially when I try to have conversation with people and any time I try to disagree with something about politics it is immediately 'well we do not live in a democracy anymore' or similar bullshit. There's a lack of understanding of our political system which has prevented actual good conversation of politics, but this isn't really the thread for discussing this topic further.
