Fuck the ad revenue. I'd rather not have my PC grind to a halt because the shitty ads are eating it's memory, forcing the browser to crash after five minutes. I got really sick of seeing meaningless dog shit interrupting what I was looking at. Mostly political ads at the time.

I have adblock because my internet cannot handle ads. It literally implodes at them. Either because its satellite and freaks out, or, if on the not satellite, its literally dial up.
