What card do you have now? Not entirely sur what the pricing in Europe is, since I use the Great Empires Pound Sterling, but I'd recommend the RX 470 or the GTX 1070, don't bother with the RX 480, it's quite a bit more expensive than the RX 470 and isn't much better.
The GTX 1070 is the stronger card, but it's also twice the price of the RX 470. If you do go for the GTX 1070 then get the EVGA FTW version, their customer support is pretty much unbeatable and the FTW is one of the best aftermarket 1070S.
Current card is an AMD Radeon HD 6670 AKA a toaster.
I can deal with pound prices either , so ~350£ as I'll most likely be ordering from amazon uk. Could maybe stretch my budget by +50£/€ at most.

EVGA SuperClocked GTX 1070, one of the best ones on the market and EVGAs customer support is excellent, so if you have any issues they'll replace it, they also have a step-up program where for 90 days after purchase you can swap your card for a better one and only pay the difference in price plus shipping.
If you're gaming at 1080p 60Hz then this is a little more power than you need right now, it's more of a 1440p 60Hz card, but that just means it'll last you even longer at 1080p if that's what you're using.
Edit: here's a cheaper, but pretty much just as good MSI GTX 1070, though I personally don't really like MSI and their customer service is notoriously awful.
Edit again: If the 1070 is pushing your budget and the RX 470 is the option you'd prefer, then here's the one I'd recommend, excellent for 1080p and will handle 1440p surprisingly well too.
