Well, when I joined had to have been around the first few months the forum started.

I am like the only guy who dates back to Whales Dev on here.

Nah. Whales is a bit of a dick. Plus, I don't even play cata at all. You can feel free to dual membership though.

Honestly I am not sure anymore, Whales did have good points. Now that Cata mods has revealed to be such deeks I am really questioning my old views.

not to mention Whales started the legacy of DDA, he also has another project along with Cataclysm 2 I don't know what it's theme is but from the screenies I have seen it looks really cool.

he is a dick. the cata admins are worse. lesser evil, but still evil. im takinga third option, as i dont like the game enough to stick to it.

True but Whales was more pissed over the kickstarter, and the fact that the devs were offering him a cut of the funds without telling the backers.

I know, but the fact is that HE says WE fucked it up when HE GAVE US permission to do WHAT EVER THE F**K we want with the game, as long as the community approves, and then he yells at us for adding content he didn't like. And shittalks the DDA community oh so much.

Going to say this, and keep in mind this is my opinion based on information I have
Whales was NOT contacted about the kickstarter prior to it going up, so I personally feel the whole thing was illegitimate as they were/are(?) making money off of his concept, and technically his game.
Whales should NOT have acted the way he did, but he was objectively in the right.
From what I have heard NONE of the kickstarter goals have been met, so people should be free to complain about it. Instead mentality seemed to be 'mention kickstarter and die' while I was there.

Just my two cents while I'm tired and thoroughly done discussing anything having to do with Cataclysmdda.
