Because I'm pretty sure the UK has different shoe sizes to everyone else.

Well. While I'm not sure if I'lll be around here much, might as well at least say hi.

Random_Dragon from the Cataclysm DDA forums, Chaosvolt on Github. I'd heard before about others moving here due to drama, looked into the "other forum" then never paid much attention to the matter again.

More recent, personal drama has led me to consider poking my head into here.

Maximum derp. And meanwhile I just shrugged all that drama off because I never really cared either way.

Eh I got over it, it's just how they handled the changes so suddenly that pissed me off. I get that it's a privately owned forum, but normally having an announcement or a warning/discussion over the new policies would've been nice instead of redtexting entire stories people wrote. A lot of people aren't as pissed about the recent changes, because they've been made clear. The main reason why people were furious is mostly because of one main reason: entire sections of written works, author's purposes in their works, and dialogue got removed without permission or a PM.

And of course the mods demonized us for us getting mad. The bad blood is basically gone at this point, but how it was handled hurt a lot more people then helped and caused several people to leave the community because of both sides of the argument.

All-in-all it was a great time to be on the forum!

Though I'm not sure what, if anything, I'll wind up doing here.
