so, this is going to be a RP based on the in progress shared world we have going in creative endeavors. I have an itch to DM some good old fashioned fantasy tabletop, and here i have a legion of peeps willing to play. anyway, the set up is simple. there is none. After you guys create Characters and give me a reason you are all adventuring, i will roll a die, and plonk you guys down at a random spot on my in progress world map. so, a go where you want do what you want freeform style game. im going to be pretty damn brutal too. you WILL die. or, worse yet, you might survive.
CHAR CREATION
Name: give a name here
Sex: (yes please) whatever you cahr is.
Appearance: you guys love this, so enjoy
Race: Probably human or Odium of some form, but new races are welcome as long as you give a history of the race to some extent.
Stats: Much like dark souls, this game is going to be mostly stat based, with skills being logically extrapolated from them.
all have a base of 7, you have 20 points on top of that to spend
the stats are as follows
Vitality Max HP UP
Endurance Effects equip load, and resistances
Strength Use heavier weapons, and hit for more raw damage
Skill Use fancy/skilled weapons effectively, and hit for more precision damage
Intelligence Use Spells/ magic shit better, and read better
Faith Use to call down godly miracles. does not cover potency of miracles, merely chance of the gods listening.
Equipment: you have 100 gp to buy all that you need from the following link list, within reason. Char sheets may be rejected due to OP gear being found in the list. a GP is worth 100 SP, and an SP is worth 100 CP

Race: Chalcidian (If you couldn't tell by now, I really fucking love insects.)
Chalcids are humanoid insects, with some wasp-like features. The ancestors of Chalcids were parasitic wasps, which used their ovipositors to lay eggs within their hosts. Their eggs were unique in the way that they actually took some DNA from their host. As the most common host of choice was human, the Chalcids slowly became more larger and humanoid. Their ovipositors eventually specialized into human-like reproductive organs soon after becoming, essentially, anthropomorphic insects. The modern Chalcidians came to be ~400 years ago.

Backstory: Vessul grew up in a fairly rich, though broken family in a merchant town. At the age of 12, an Odium warband attacked the town, slaughtering many of the inhabitants. He was one of the inhabitants to escape. Finally becoming mature enough to leave the orphanage he grew up in after the Odium raid, he now seeks to help others, and exact revenge on the evil Odiums.

Appearance: A young tall woman, with short messy, uneven blonde hair that she cuts herself with a knife, her eyes are green. Her face has a couple of scars, she tends to paint under her left eye with two streaks of blood (either hers or someone else's) going straight from the lower eyelid to her chin.

Backstory: A merc often hired to to escort caravans between towns, she is known to use her whip to injure but not kill bandits, using the pain to make them comply but not cause crippling injuries. She also known to sell these bandits to local authorities or the local "Broker" depending on who pays the most and if the latter is available. There many rumours surrounding her and why she tends to be so cruel towards bandits but anyone's attempts to ask ends up with a death glare and silence, further inquiry invariably end violently.

Backstory
Pax awoke after the outbursting of magik to find himself alone in a small clearing. As he had in his prior life he went adventuring, aiding those he met in his travels. That is until men started attacking him on sight, after that he found out what had happened to him and why people had given him odd looks in his recent adventures. He now conceals himself under a cloak and hood.
He was a healer, and a mage in the past, never seen without his staff. He would stop to heal those he could, and move on only after his work was done.

Great, it being non lethal is kinda a key part of the chars backstory/personality. Also whips have planty uses against armoured stuff other than hurting them.

Not without great cost. Magic is VERY risky, and liable to hurt you really bad. And that would be a very high up power. If you mean an Odium power, no. That is kinda OP.

V/E/S/S uses 20 points total, now you have 7 more points to add.
added 9 to Intelligence, you now have -2 points to spend.

MOST yes. But this kingdom has a large amount of not asshole ones due to them not killing on sight. Its the eviler ones for the most part that are silent, their minds are broken. Good ones didn't go apeshit. That's the difference really. Good ones can be monstrous looking, bad ones can be divine looking. All in the mind.

Actually, it will hopefully be like Warband, as in:
1. Recruit poor, desperate peasants.
2. Murder bandits Odiums.
3. The surviving peasants become stronger/skilled/equipped (They will likely just steal the Odiums' gear until I have enough dosh to give uniforms)
4. Build up an army.
5. Get all of the army slaughtered by becoming cocky, start back at 1. OR
6. Create a kingdom and expand it, go back to 5.
My reason for going this path is totally not to vent out my Bannerlord hype.
