The Orcs

Language: Orcish, The basics of Galactic Standard.

Average height of adults: 7' (male) 6' (female)

Skin color: Green, Brown

Hair color: Black

Breathes: O2 (Can be contaminated)

Strengths: +Extremely Strong
+Tough
+Toxin-resistant
+Intelligent

Mixed: ~Resourceful (Mixed because they tend to use things until they actually break or use subpar materials to build items)

Weaknesses: -Lack of Natural Weapons

Distinctions: Muscular, large and green, Orcs usually use makeshift weapons made from scrap.

Average Lifespan: 50-70

Races: Greenskins: Your typical orcs, they have more scrap, and are slightly smarter.
Brownskins: Orcs living in the desert, they have adapted to the heat. Survive better in desert regions.

Estimated Population: ~120 billion across 14 planets.

Diet: Whatever they find they eat.

Communication: Physical Speech.

Culture: Orcish culture is based around scrap. They construct their buildings, weapons, vehicles and armor out of it. They use nuts, bolts, screws, nails and such as their currency. They are very racist and xenophobic, but are capable of dealing with other races with 'inferior' intelligence.

Technology level: 7, but they have tier 8 stolen items

General behavior: Extremely aggressive, but ingenuity and creativity exist in their race.

History: Orcs first appeared 4 millenia ago. They originally were tribesmen, surviving in the barren wastelands of Terra Adimere. Eventually they were attacked by an more advanced species, but to their fortune, the attackers suffocated in their poisonous atmosphere. They quickly started to learn how to use the spaceship and weapons the attackers brought. After they got the spaceship, they hijacked and destroyed other ships flying close to them, and used the ship's tractor beam to bring space scrap to the planet. They started building more ships, and that's where they are at now.

The Zidians

Homeworld: Elfasa

Language: Zidian

Average height of adults: 7ft (Male) 6 foot 8 inches (Female)

Skin color: Usually very pale

Hair color: Silver fur all over

Breathes: O2 mixed with the standard humanoid atmosphere mixture.

Strengths: +Warlike: The Zidians are very warlike and strong, having a great amount of military Tech and knowledge.

Weaknesses: +Warfocus: Their society is built on war, they are not all that good at anything else. Diplomacy tends to fall through and they are behind in social tech.

Distinctions: Large, four armed, silver furred. Likes mechs.

Average Lifespan: 50 (can live much longer, but battlefield casualties keep it low.

Races: A bunch of clans which I will describe later.

Estimated Population: ~60 billion across their empire.

Diet: They are omnivorous, but can't eat wheat products because of some evolutionary messup

Culture: Varies from clan to clan, always war focused.

Technology level: High military, low civilian.

General behavior: Beligerent and violent.

General behavior: Extremely Friendly, but release highly unhealthy spores when damaged.

History: They have lived on Earth for many millenia, in the deep caverns. A hundred years ago they finally moved out of the caverns, developing tolerance for sunlight. Everyone was scared of them at first, but due to them causing many deaths to people who fight them, they have decided to leave them in peace.

Skin color: Human skin colors is as varied as their culture. The most skin colors are pale, white, black, brown, and light brown.

Hair color: Varied but most common is brown, light brown, and blonde.

Breathes: O2 mixed with the standard humanoid atmosphere mixture.

Strengths: +Adaptable: Humans despite their fragility and lack of natural weapons are quite adaptable to their surroundings. Constantly expanding, they have learned to harness technology to change the environment to suit their needs. Their ability to adapt spreads even to their pets and livestock as they are genetically enhanced to suit humanities needs.

Weaknesses: -Frail

Average Lifespan: 100-120 on Developed Planets/60-80 on Frontier Planets

Races: Only standard humans.

Estimated Population: Humans are still new on the scene when it comes to the galactic stages so their numbers are certainly lower on other planets. An estimated 20 billions human exist in the known Galaxy.

Diet: Normal human stuff like corn and beef.

Communication: Physical Speech.

Culture: Human culture is hard to describe due to the fact that it has so many different subcultures. Each person is unique and is made up of several different human cultures based on their backgrounds. However there are a few things that can be said about human culture: Individuality is encouraged while spirituality is discouraged. Most humans are accepting of humanoid aliens while other aliens are viewed as strange, spooky, and generally viewed poorly.

Technology level: Expansion is not the only thing humans have improved while on their path to colonization. New technologies have also improved the quality of life for those on already established planets as well as for those who are on the frontier. A recent advancement in weapons tech has created the first viable laser weapons for infantry, ships, and in other military endeavors. While expensive, they are more accurate and render current armor obsolete until better armor can be researched. In the area of spacecraft, long distances can be crossed with the use of new engines that run on the Trans-Newtonian Fuel of Sephorium. Most ships are made of Durasteel (another TN resource).

Colonization and terraforming first began on Maros Solus (Mars) around 2030 and has been an example of how a successful colony should be done. Maros will have an atmosphere like Terra Solus within another 200 years if estimations are correct. The first extra-system colony with founded last year in the Bernard system on Neo-Terra Bernardous. The human population on Neo-Terra is only 20,000 but new colonists are always ready to stake their claim.

General behavior: Humans don't have a set behavior and this varies depending on the environment around them.

History: tl;dr Humans discovered trans-Newtonian resources on earth that allowed them to research new technology to head into the stars. They have met other alien races and so far their relationships haven't soured. It remains to be seen if this trend will continue into the future.

The Synths

Since many galactic cycles ago the Robots of Jorgen V have been independent from the other factions. After a war attempting to kill off these sentient robots there was a treaty between Jorgen V's inhabitants and the rest of the galaxy. The Robots were permitted to expand and have since acquired a few different planets and have managed to attain acceptance from the other species. They however were still nicknamed Syths by the other species.
The Robots are humanoid in stature though have made no attempt to look human. Most do not have a face to speak of, and there is no synthetic material to cover their metal appendages. They do have a few designated ambassadors who attempt to emulate other species facial features(if any) in order to help facilitate negotiations.
Most Synths adorn themselves with paint and small decorative trinkets. Those who have spent years with some of the other cultures wear clothes and decorate themselves with intricate patterns of paint that emulate tattoos that certain species adorn themselves with.

Synths utilize large battle tanks and heavily armed and armored infantry units to deal with planetary military operations. For space operations they have developed large and heavily armored capital ships. These utilize large powerful weapons that are capable of damaging other capital ships. They also have nimble fighters, heavily armed and armored bombers, and nimble and hard to kill troop transports.

Okay, second post will have weapons, and I'll see what else I might need to do.
