The New World.
You'd heard all about it before you'd set off across the sea. A land of opportunity, a land of discovery, a land of new beginnings.
You are new arrivals in the New World, coming in on a ship that set out several weeks ago.
"Okay, e'rybody off ta ship," the captain yells to the many passengers. All sorts rode the ship with you. Merchants, craftsmen, soldiers, clergy, farmers, and even fellow adventurers. You disembark from the ship with the others and find yourself standing on a long pier that leads inland to a quaint looking let busy town. People are bustling about everywhere, doing their own business and conversing in the streets. A few market stalls are set up in the middle of town, and two buildings in particular stand out to you immediately: the tavern and the town hall.
The Tavern housed the Adventurer's Guild, your current destination. They would probably be expecting your registration papers before you could officially begin exploring.

With a smile Johnathan turned to Vix and said "Come on, let's get my papers in and see if there's any work."
Before Vix could respond Johnathan started for the Tavern at a brisk pace. The large smile on his face revealed his happy and excited mood, and he looked around the town with an odd curiosity. With the guild being located here he figured he should get familiar with the town and where things were located, but right now his goal was the Tavern and getting his papers in.

Khosh simply goes to hand in his registration papers in silence. Not much else to do, anyway.

Oliver takes a moment to make sure all his possessions are in check, mumbling an inventory to himself, and then pulls his papers out from his pocket. They've been neatly folded up for storage and he takes care to make sure they're all intact and complete. Finished, he proceeds to the Guild to finally become a proper adventurer.

Vix smiled as he followed his royal keeping a firm and steady pace with him as they both moved to the tavern. Johnathan had acquired quite the cheery disposition, which reflected much on how Vix was feeling. As he remembered, "Feel as your Royal to be one with your Royal." Quite wise words; every Masq Fencer followed them religiously.
