[[since the only vote is for opening one then that's what we'll go with]]
The two of you had been sent to a night club by the Don to take it over. As the driver took you towards your destination you see neon signs advertising things like 'Bobs Magic Shop' or 'Jimmies One Stop Shop'.
You soon arrive at the 'Lucky Man's' club and the driver stops. "The Don says that Lucky isn't to make it out. He gets out then the other families will know what we're up to."
Through the window you spot the dual bouncers standing next to the door, patting down everyone who entered. To the left of the entrance you see a bum stumble down an alley and begin vomiting.
-
Grub walks over to the bum, and offers him a drink if he can distract the guards long enough for us to sneak in.
-
You approach the bum and he dashes off as you get near. You do spot a window leading into what appears to be a bathroom though, and it's open.
-
John will wiggle dat ass in through the window and hope it doesn't lead into an occupied stall.
-
You make it through the window, and notice that it's just a regular bathroom, and that the window doesn't end up in a stall.
-
I jump in too, and do an unessesary combat roll.
-
John will motion his partner to quiet the fuck down and then will proceed carefully to the door, revolver at the ready.
-
Grub combat rolls into the bathroom and John moves silently to the door. You hear music in the next room.
-
I crack the door, look inside, and whisper "so, loud or quiet?"
-
You crack the door and spot a rather lively dance floor. You also spot a bunch of trench coat wearing guys who also happen to have on steel grey ties, definitely Slate family.
Slate Family info
They run the nightclubs and the drugs. They are also the harshest when it comes to enforcing their policies and rules. Don't pay them and you're likely to lose something.
-
"They're Slate so there's only one good way to do this." John said as he switched to his shotgun and made his way in. He will then quickly get into cover.
-
"GRUBS COMING MOTHERFUCKERS!"
Combat roll behind cover.
-
The two of you take cover behind the bar that was located next to the bathroom for some reason.
You see seven Slate enforcers, armed with revolvers and shotguns, they are within effective range of all your weapons.
Enforcer 1 is located behind a sofa. (Soft cover, might be able to shoot through.
Enforcer 2-5 are out in the open pulling out their weapons
Enforcer 6&7 take cover behind another bar
-
> Kill enforcer 2 with revolver
-
> Blast #2 in the upper body with the shotgun.
-
*Bang*
Grubs revolver bucked and the shot tore into the man's shoulder, sending the weapon he had just drawn to the floor as his hand spasmed in pain. (Declare specific body parts/areas. A head shot is hard to get but kills instantly, period. You can also disable opponents by shooting limbs.)
*BOOM*
Johns shot knocked the enforcer down and sprayed buck shot into the man's face and neck.
Enforcer 2 dead.
Enforcers turn
Enforcer 1 shotgun shell tore into the bar you were behind, shattering bottles behind you and sending wood splinters into the air as booze poured down on you.
Enforcer 3,4 & 5 fire at you as they duck behind the sofa's and arm chairs, a trio of revolver shots tearing into the bar and on sailing by Grubs ear, so close he could feel it. They have light, penetratable cover
Enforcer 6 stands and fires his shotgun at you, but missed and hit high, sending even more broken glass and booze down on you. He no longer has cover
Enforcer 7 fires his revolver at you and hits the bar, sending splinters flying across the room.
Your turn.
Shock Bonus: Attack twice this turn
(depending on what happens in combat you can get multiple attacks, bonus damage, or reduced damage.)
-
(the kill thing was a old text game reference)
Aim, fire at 3, kill the bastard to the best of my abilities. Then fire at 7.
-
((2 is dead, or is that on purpose?))
-
((2 is dead, or is that on purpose?))
(shoulder shots aren't usually lethal, so I kinda assumed. So, yeah, it makes since for another shot from an IC perspective.)
EDIT: just saw the shotgun thing. Editing.
-
(you and Lorknis both shot the same guy, should have made it clear.))
-
John will tuck his shotgun under his arm and pull out his revolver with his free hand. Now a duel wielding badass, John fires both his shotgun and pistol at Enforcer 6 and aims for the torso.
Next attack: With the shotgun outta ammo, John drops it and fires his pistol at #7's torso.
-
Grub
You fire your revolver and the shot impacted the man's skull at his forehead. The enforcers skull caved in and sent blood and brain matter flying back out of his head as he fell to the ground, jerking and shooting four in the leg before falling to the ground dead.
Your next shot impacts the bar that enforcer 7 is behind and sends wood splintering off of the bar.
John
You fire the remaining shot in your shotgun along side a bullet from your revolver. The shotgun blast tears into enforcer 6's torso as the revolver shot blows a hole in his chest and sends him tumbling to the ground dead.
Your shot at enforcer 7 misses and shatters a bottle of booze above his head.
Enforcers turn
Enforcer 1 fires his shotgun at Grub and misses, but the shell tears a hole in the bar.
Enforcer 3&4 fire at you from their cover, but their shots miss and hit the wall.
Enforcer 5 fires his shotgun and misses, the shot flying into the bathroom you had just been in.
Enforcer 7 opens fire at John but misses. sending the slug into the wall.
Your turn
Murder Bonus: extra damage.
-
>SHOOT 4 IN OTHER LEG WITH REVOLVER
(I'm counting shots, no worries.)
-
John will keep his aim at #7 and fire his revolver at his torso.
-
Grub
Your shot tears into 4's leg and he tumbles to the ground, losing his gun as he screams in pain.
John
Your shot blows 7's brains out and sprays it onto the case of alcohol bottles behind him.
7 is dead. 4 is out of combat
1,3&5 open fire at John, the trio of shots impacting the bar and shattering most of his cover.
John no longer has cover.
Disabled: make a second attack this round.
-
Shoot last two shots at 5, throw gun at 1
-
Fire one shot at #1's gun-hand and the other at 3's gun-hand with my pistol.
-
Grub
You fire a shot and it takes the man in the neck, and he goes down dead. You then throw your empyt (and only) gun at 1 and he stumbles back out of cover rubbing his head with one hand.
John
You shoot them both in their gun hands and they both shout then attempt to surrender.
Combat Over
"What do you want?"
-
"Oh you know, the usual. This entire club and for the rest of your men to surrender. I mean, you wouldn't want me upset right? He said while pulling the hammer back on his revolver.
-
I'm going to pick up my gun, and stand menacingly to back him up.
-
"You just shot all of us you mother fucker! There's no one left to stand down, and your empty gun ain't threatening buddy!" The man says, staring at the two of you.
-
"Empty? You can't count and I don't like that." He said plainly before firing a bullet at the offending mans eye. Afterwards he would look at the last man and say, "Now can you count? Do you feel lucky punk?"
-
Smack the survivor around a bit. beat the bastard out of him. (Im just going to be the silent bob here, you speak for us Lorknis, my dialogue skills are lacking)
-
After the beating the man spat blood off to the side and said "Yeah, your cylinder is empty bub. Listen, more guys'll be here in an hour to collect some cash. You might want to get out of here."
-
"Grub, I like this one. Too bad though." John said as he picked back up his shotgun and then proceeded to crush the man's skull in.
-
Grub nods, and starts looking for DOSH in the building.
-
John
you bash the man's skull in rather quickly with the butt of your shotgun.
Grub
You search the place and find some jewelry and a large amount of cash in a briefcase.
-
Stuff the jewels in with the DOSH, and nod towards the door.
-
"Pleasure doing business with you chaps." John said as he walked out the door with Grub, reloading his weapons.
-
"Pleasure doing business with you chaps." John said as he walked out the door with Grub, reloading his weapons.
I grab my gun, and reload as I follow.
-
The two of you walk out of the building and onto the street, which is oddly clear of pedestrian traffick, probably due to the recent shoot out you two just won. You do spot your car and it's driver, and he asks "did the two of you get Lucky?"
-
*Shows his SUITCASE FULL OF PISTOLS AND MON-EY*
-
"With all that shooting, you didn't at least check to see if you got Lucky? Did you kill the bastard or not?" The driver asked, raising an eyebrow.
-
(ohhh, lucky with a capital L)
*shrugs*
-
"Ooooh shit. We better check, come on Grub." And with that, John rushes back inside to double check among the bodies if they did indeed get Lucky.
-
As you rush in you spot two enforcers with Tommy guns stepping out of a hidden side room, with Lucky behind them carrying a suitcase. "Oh shit, get 'em boys!" Lucky yells, diving back into the room as the two start to bring their weapons to bear.
Nearby cover: Couches (2), armchair, wooden table you can flip.
-
John will dive behind a couch and while in midair, fire at the first Enforcer's torso.
-
Dive behind cover, and shoot the guy carrying the suitcase.
-
John (Uh, guess it's with the pistol.)
You fire and hit the man in the chest, causing him to stagger back.
Grub
You shoot at Lucky and blow his knee cap off as he dives into the hidden room, however you no longer have a clear shot.
Enforcers
1 fires a burst at John that sends couch stuffing flying into the air.
2 fires a burst at John that blows a hole in the other side of the couch.
Target wounded: Double attack
-
[Whoops, was supposed to be with the shotgun but ah well.]
John pops out of his cover and then fires his first shot at #1's face with his pistol and then does the same to #2.
-
John
You hit 1 in the neck and he falls to the ground dead, however your second shot misses entirely and smacks into the wall behind the man.
((Just going to move along a turn))
Enforcer 2 opens fire with his tommy gun at Grub, but his shots impact the armchair he's behind and do nothing more.
