Hey folks, so mentioned IRC RP thingamajiggy in the rec room discussion thread, so here's what I've got so far because why not show you guys.
First let's jump into mechanics, because those are kinda important somewhat I think maybe actually they are, very important.
Combat
Roll a D10 to determine if you hit or miss. 5 or below is failure, with 1 being crit failure, six and above is success with ten being crit success. You roll the specified dye for the weapon to deal damage.
Armor [gonna put up a poll for this actually so may change.]
Armor means you take less damage, so if an enemy deals five and your armor is three you take two.
Weapons
Not sure if I should be generic here, but here's a few of what I've got
Sword
damage: 1d8
Single/two handed
cost: 10 gold
Long Bow
Damage: 1d6
Two handed
Cost: 8 gold
Spear
Damage: 2d6
Two Handed
Cost: 20 Gold
Hand Axe
Damage: 1d8
One Handed
Cost: 10 gold
Frost Man's Gun
Damage: 1d6 + 2d4 cold
One Handed
Cost: 15 Gold
Spark Gun
Damage: 1d6 + 2d4 fire
One Handed
Cost: 15 Gold
Elemental Gun [template for you guys]
Damage: 1d6 + 2d4 [element]
One Handed
Cost: 15 Gold

Okay weapons list needs to be expanded but it gives you a general idea I think, and it's late so I'd like to go ahead and get this up before I fall asleep.
Armor
Leather Armor
Armor points: 2
Cost: 10 gold
Studded Leather Armor
Armor points: 4
Cost: 15 gold
Metal Armor
Armor points: 6
Cost 30 gold
Skills
Skills will have points added to them to increase that skills level.
Skills include
Sword Fighting
Archery
Shield Mastery
Craftsmanship __ (IE sword smithing, shoe making etc)
Horsemanship
Gunman (effectiveness with guns)
alchemy (allows you to make potions)
Sorcery (magic)
Divinity (Healing magic)
And others I'm sure I missed, it's late so please forgive me but I wanted to get this out.
The World (because this is important too and it's going ot get written no matter what, since I can't have an RP without a world to have it in!)
Welcome to Vaalstad mighty warriors, mages, thieves, what have you! Vaalstad is home to many different races, such as the Humans, the Dwarves, the Elves, the Sky Folk (no one knows what they call themselves okay.) and many more.
The world of Vaalstad is one of action, one of intrigue, one of war, and one of politics depending on the path you may choose! You may be a hulking warrior testing himself on the Plains of Alstengrad, or a mage practicing his works in the temple of Jorgen. Perhaps you are a politician who seeks to prove himself in the Grand Council of the Races! Or maybe your a dirty little (small argument that is barely heard) okay okay fine! Or maybe you are stealthy rogue who wishes to take from the rich! Your path is yours to choose, but be aware that once you choose a path it is hard to change.
Oh, what's this? A new group seeking their fortune here? Oh what a marvelous place to choose to start their lives in this wonderful world!
They are currently in the town of Northern Hold, a place that is a mix of all the civilized races that walk this land. The town is bustling as it's the harvest season is in full swing, with the farmers selling their products in the streets to raise money. The local breweries have carts along the streets selling their wares and passing out the occasional free sample. The bakers as ever are hawking their fresh sweets and bread to those passing by on the streets. The inn is bustling as the locals celebrate and get ready for the annual event.
The weapon smiths sell their swords, shields, and magic guns to the would be adventurers passing through.
Oh what a glorious place to start!

Okay, so on the weapons because I've jsut thought of this: Propose a weapon if you want something specific, and I'll okay or deny it depending on if it fits. Also there are no 'guns', these guns shoot magic energy.

The enchantment is to protect against unholy, corrupted things. Such as digging into an evil crypt where he might fight some good loot.
