Title: Cthulu Hunters: Cult Rising [possibly an IRC]

WHAT IS THIS? TWO IN ONE NIGHT! OHMYGODSOMEONECALLTHEDOCTORVULNUSMUSTBESICKORSOMETHING!
Nah, I've actually wanted to do this again, but better. You'll still fight cults primarily but it'll be a lot darker. It's also much simpler then Vaalstad will be! Hooray for mes!

Combat
You roll a d10 and I'll worry about damage.

Roles (these determine what equipment you'll get.)
Inspector: Lightly armed but these men notice more when investigating crime scenes or suspected cult sightings and rituals. They cannot take much damage before going down, and so need to be backed up, most likely by an Enforcement Officer.
Enforcement Officer: Medium armor coupled with shotguns and batons, these men often accompany Inspectors and scout out Cult lairs before the heavier forces roll in. These men can take some punishment but are not meant for prolonged combat without help.
Exterminations Officer: Equipped with heavy armor and weapons, these men are equipped to take care of Cult members that just won't give themselves up. Generally these men aid in taking care of Cult Lairs.
Abomination Expert: These men are equipped specifically to handle the abominations that these cultists wish to bring into the world. They however still require the support of combat veterans to accomplish their task.


The Ministry
An organization set up to take care of anyone attempting to summon Cthulu or other daedric abominations. This organization none the less cannot destroy a city because a single man is attempting to summon the devil or, you know, Cthulu. They must send an investigation squad to find and take care of any Cult lairs that pop up.

The Operation
You have been sent to a town out in the states, away from the Ministries headquarters in London (a mutually accepted location between the worlds countries). It is believed that a cult is attempting to summon a daedric being in the town, and an informant is waiting for you. You have the address and must meet him to obtain the information he has. He IS NOT to be harmed under any circumstances. You have your communications devices should you need to contact HQ.

Sabre of Slaying confirmed. Also when do you plan on wanting everyone in the IRC? It's not like I'm sitting in there doing nothing or anything *Tsundere Mode Activated*

sorry for triple post but going to make a log of events for everyone so we don't lose track of where we are

Victor Trip and Duncan Mchshale were picked up by an unnamed Ministry Enforcer.
On the way they were ambushed by an unkown rifleman who killed the Enforcer.
After a bit of confusion about a tree Duncan shot and it is presumed he killed the rifleman.
The body fo the enforcer was frisked and they found a notebook, a grenade, and the man's revolver
The two arrived in town and parked in front of home where gun shots were heard and ignored.
The two went to the bar and saw two men inside.
After attempting to procure entrance Duncan threw the grenade inside the building which exploded
After which a gunman on one of the roof tops attempted an ambush and was killed in the process
One of the two men inside the bar fired back at the two.
Victor went for an alley calling for retreat when a Police officer arrived on scene and arrested him, and several others arrived and arrested Duncan.
The two were taken too the station and were questioned
The officers confirmed with HQ and released the two.
The two are now heading back for the bar.


That sums it up in a short manner.

Okay leveling time so here's how we'll do it.
If you have at least one point in magic you may select two new spells upon leveling up. At level five you can select more powerful spells, at ten again more powerful spells plus an additional spell.

Second
Everyone select a piece of equipment to upgrade. Upgrades can be larger magazines, better bullets(more damage) Etc, PM me if you have a question.

Third
Skills (add this to your sheet) EDIT: Tell me if this needs changing, reading it it seems fairly straightforward.
You have one point in each skill base except magic(Abomination Experts start with 1 in magic
Skills being; Accuracy, Strength, Constitution, and Magic
The first three should be self explanatory, if not feel free to ask.  Magic is your propensity to use magic and cast spells.
Everyone gets three points to spend.

I added two new spells to my list. Are they in need of work?

Oh and also for my upgrade I wish to make my pump shotgun shoot faster (So two shots a turn).

Yes I still want to do this. I'd say if I didn't, and I'm fairly certain I recall someone saying they weren't going to be on tonight. new spells are fine.
EDIT: On IRC for a while if anyone wants to join and just do something random or chat.
