It collapses back to the top. it gets out of the way, and it keeps the screen clear. as for why it is at the top.... Its just a thing i do.

ALSO, EVERYONES DESKTOPS ARE TOO NEAT.

The reason why there's there's very few icons is I keep almost everything inside folders, or even folders within folders.

I cleaned up my desktop a bit, it used to be a cluster fuck of icons, now I just have the ones I actually use on the sides.

As I have a personal drive and my parents don't want my stuff all over the desktop, except for my drive shortcuts to the right all the other stuff is stuff that either was added by my parents or came with computer and never removed.

I don't keep many games on my desktop anymore. The file labeled "games" on the left there is actually filled with zip files, short cuts, demos, and mysterious mystery folders.

Need a favor to ask. Anyone got any good custom .ico icon files? It's a bit of a pain to look up pictures on this crappy phone. Looking for like, an @ sign or something for my rogue likes folder, and like a game controller or something game related for my miscelanious game folder that I can just transfer on from my phone to internetless computer.

I'd expect the @ would be pretty simple. Just open paint or similar to the appropriate sized canvas, type in the @, and save as .ico.

Afraid I'm not skilled enough to help you with the gamepad, though you could just steal a pic from Google if you aren't set on some classy pixel art.

EDIT: Oh, I now re-read and see you're on a phone. Might not be quite that simple then.
