It's only there if you use the pixel thing Bubba found, it's entirely optional too, no need to worry about it.

Edit Edit: Oh right, I've found the setting for them and how to disable them, but I'm gonna leave them there anyway since they ain't doing no harm and it's sort of similar to the Karma system, and look how we all dicked about with that.
