In case it ever becomes relevant to anyone else, you cannot induce a forum imploding paradox by having a censored word be replaced with another censored word that is supposed to be replaced by the initial censored word.

Which, in retrospect, is probably good.

Hm? Oh yeah. That was me. Like a month ago. Not sure why orderwatt doesn't capitalize. Hm.

Anyway. Bans all around for circumventing the word filters.

Anyone know of any good Earthbound SNES ROMs? The hack I'm playing doesn't display the world map right, and either the game itself is really fucking weird or this version is badly translated.

How did wolves spread to other planets?

Yeah, think that pretty much sums it up.

Oh hey, we actually finished an RP. Go us. I'll be down for part two, though likely with a different char.

We don't need to approve mechanics to use them in RPs, but I was thinking it might be nice to have a database of "we know these systems work" approved mechanics that people can use.

As of such, I'll like to see this fleshed out a bit more before approving and moving. D20 based? How is move speed calculated? Etc.

Honestly, this comes back to the issues with the economic system I mentioned. 80 GSC is probably somewhat realistic, but on the flip side of this, it doesn't make sense when we have super "cheap" mass produced guns that cost ten times as much.

As I say, I don't really think it matters TBH. You've likely got the right idea cost-wise and it's the rest of us who bunged up.

I think the other thing to mention is that the majority of this tech is probably beyond human capabilities. Lork would be better to weigh in on this, since he's the official humans guy. But:

-Nanocarbon blade: An implanted short sword used for CQB. Continues sharpening when stored makes it sharp and it material makes it hard to break but when it does it is hard to get a replacement.
-Hand lasers: Rapid fire laser form the palms of the hand offer both weak but raid fire lasers to energy expensive powerful continuous lasers. Works best on unarmored enemies and biology.
-Kinetic Rail Cannon: Mounted on the Right arm is a mounted rail gun to take out armored enemies. Because of the small size of the cannon and ammunition, it usually takes multiple shoot to down a target depending on what it is. Holds 25 shells.

That stuff would all seem to be well beyond things humans would be capable of making - they don't apparently use hand held railguns, and their lasers are both expensive and inefficient, or pretty big. While it's not perhaps incredibly clear, the tech level of humanity is, for the most part, limited to stuff we'll see in the next 20-30 years or so.

There is a human cybernetics company in the lore already (or awaiting approval, I don't remember), so if you cut that above mentioned stuff out, I'd give it an approval. Otherwise, I'd suggest making this dude come from a higher-tech race like the Norenfal who have the (unwritten but implied) tech to actually carry this whole thing out.

It costs less than anything else thus far, at 8GC. I'd argue it's considerably worse than the SIR is supposed to be, though it's kinda hard to tell as the SIR is sparse on capabilities.

"DONOVAN, SHIFT YOUR FIRE!" Kiran yells, letting his rifle fall free again and pulling the ornate Mortalis pistol from his belt. Steeling himself mentally, he rushes the swordsman in a weaving path, attempting to jam the pistol into his armpit and put two rounds of type 63 explosive ammo into him as he raises his sword for another blow.

Regardless of the result of this, Kiran will then attempt to dive behind the cover on the other side of the room.
