DS2 was sub par, bloodborne was, to me, a bit of a letdown. They took the ****tarded difficulty too far in BB and DS2. Can we get back to DS1s strict, but not sadistic difficulty?

Wait people actually thought Bloodborne was hard? I solo'd that game until the final boss where I actually summoned someone to help me kill Captain Wheelchair because that's when I wasn't actually making progress.

Honestly I feel like Bloodborne was made for people that mastered the parrying mechanic, I kinda hated how there was no block, I mean I see the intention with the guns and all that. But it basically made the PVP way to broken to even have fun. Either you wait for the person to try to attack so you parry them, or you get parried yourself because you accidentally clicked the button too early.

Well, you take your pick between which stat was dumber; Resistance in DS1 which was 100% useless or Adaptability in DS2 which was actually a good stat even if they made a basic mechanic a bit ****tier for the sake of it.  I liked the idea behind Adaptability, but not necessarily the execution.

Resistance was made useless due to the rings you could find which basically gave your stat boost a higher jump then actually leveling it up. Adaptability was honestly Godawful in my honest opinion, I can see where they were coming from, having you put stats in to level up your blocking, parry, and attack speed (if I remember correctly); but what made Dark Souls, Dark Souls in my eyes was the fact that a lot of the leveling up came from the player learning tricks at the game and learning how timing is everything, and adaptability kinda fucked that up for me because I just couldn't get used to how sluggish and "peanut-buttery" everything felt.

Maybe I would've gotten used to it.... but the one thing that made me rage quit harder then that was the hitboxes, I haven't ever broken a controller playing Dark Souls in my life, neither with Bloodborne. But when I fought The Pursuer and he managed to kill me with the air (AKA: 5ft from the tip of his sword) I flung the controller so hard that it bounced off a wall and down the flight of stairs outside my room. I kinda stopped playing Dark Souls II after that... still like the soundtrack though. (Also did they ever explain why Orenstein is in the game?)
