Salt confirmed for potato-worshiper.

Also got back into Terraria a bit. Wherein I die in co-op. A lot. 90% of it due to combing the underground jungle trying to get stuff to make jungle armor.

I usually die to moon pillar monsters. Especially corites. Otherwise there is no environment you can't survive with a sub machine gun and a bag full of chlorophyte bullets.

oh yeah, and divinity original sin 2 is now out in early access.

So much derp. Usually it's just anything when I go following a friend underground.

Meanwhile, back to DDA I guess. All the things dying to blobs means I brought a sizable haul of meat to smoke, but I really want better armor before I try to clear the other blob hotspot.

At least you'll have plenty of glue. Oh wait, CDDA isn't fallout 4. (It's still better than fallout 4 tho.)
I have no idea what kind of run your going for in terraria. Are you doing a straight up fresh character? I've got an airship you can steal shit from.

Had been doing a more or less fresh start to explore new additions as we go along, as a magic-user in my case.

And glue is always useful, even in CDDA. :V

If you are going with magic user, give the amber staff a miss. It's harder to get than the gold staff, but does less DPS. It isn't worth the effort. Maybe you knew that already.

Amber staff? I didn't even known that was a thing. I mostly just went topaz staff, emerald staff, spess gun, then magic missile.

EDIT: Oh sure, random fucking lava fissure in the forest, near a cabin. Neat. :V

EDIT: Fucking battle line of cats passed by me.

I guess that's another way I differ. I've been playing CDDA in ASCII mode since 0.B. In that version, the tiles package completely broke the animations, and thus the smoothness, of the game on my PC and no one was willing to help me figure out why. Now, the ascii version is no better. It's got animations and they work, but everything is oddly stalled and juttery. There's no smoothness to it anymore. I hit a movement key and it takes several seconds to register while everything else on the screen moves moves around independently of one another instead of all at once.

I like FO4, but IMO I don't particularly consider it a 'Fallout' game. If I think of it as just another post apocalyptic game then I find I can really enjoy it, but if I try to think of it as Fallout then I find myself making comparisons of things I missed from FONV. Oh and if I can ignore the main story, that pissed me off.

Why else would I be the one that expanded upon MShock's tileset? >.o

EDIT: Hmm. It also seems like recipes will now default to using a nearby fire instead of consumable alternatives, even if the fire goes out while crafting. Unlike before where it would check for fire at the end and thus frequently drain charcoal smokers.

You know, that's something I always wondered about. If a fire goes out while you are cooking meat, why doesn't the job cancel itself with the prepared portion finished while the uncooked bit stays uncooked?

Because that would be complicated and also an even worse idea than filthy clothing? >.o

Also, decided to give in and map-chest to figure out whether there is a mansion anywhere to be found. There is. And an island temple. Everything else I already forgot about.
