Meanwhile in Dwarf Fortress, my hunt for evil clouds continues fruitlessly. All these evil regions and NONE have had any so far! I even bumped the evil cloud number to max when genning the world. D:

I've had loads of steam cards sitting in my inventory for years, only just learnt you can sell them but I need to have used the fucking steamguard thing for a week or they get held.

Yeah that's my problem, especially since I have some things worth thirty or so cents but in the two weeks you have to wait these things go down in price severely. It's not like I'm expecting to make hundreds of dollars but it'd be nice to be able to sell these without extra hassle of needing a better phone.

If I got, and sold, all of the cards out of my steam games I'd have enough to buy another game or two, might finally buy Rimworld or something. It's just a hassle selling them.

Those cents add up. I have a couple of cheapy games in my library that are a result of card selling. Unfortunately, most of the stuff I enjoy playing don't give cards.

Yeah it does add up, at £0.08 per card, roughly 4 cards per game I'd have about £32 if I sold every card, that's enough for AAA games or a few indie titles.

Meanwhile in Dwarf Fortress...well, see the Positive Moddening thread for an idea I'm pondering. Only thing is it's real hard to find logical choices for portable keyboard instruments. Most examples I know of are a bit more modern than expected in DF, like 17th to 19th century, but some really seem like they could plausibly have been invented with medieval technology.

I have completed the main BLOOD campaign and am now moving on to the add ons. I didn't know the weapons had secondary fire until almost the end of the game. It didn't help that you couldn't right click to fire them. (you have to push X. what the fuck?)

The charging circuit in my computer has gone out. When the battery dies, the computer will also die. Fortunately, keeping it plugged in keeps the battery from discharging. I'm only one paycheck away from a new computer.

Your necromancy is weak dragon! This post is still fresh and vibrant! (the shelf life of a thread is directly proportional to forum activity and community size. Utterly mad is both small and fairly slow, thread downtime required to make posting in a dead thread "necromancy" is about a month of no posts.)

Modding shenaniganaigans are good.
Gonna get a new PC, but I can't see a reason to cease using this old one. Once I've got a new one, I'm going to fix up this one and give it a second life as a server host.

I do too, I just don't share them and they're usually very specific tweaks designed to do one or two specific things.

If I ever finish my simple roguelike (i.e. give it an ending and hook the non-random levels together, since it works mostly as intended mechanics-wise besides that) I'll post it here though. I wouldn't hold your breath as I kinda forgot about it and haven't touched it for a month now.
