So, I have been playing Life is Feudal to a frankly obsessive degree lately, and the most amazing thing happened today. I built an arena for sparring practice to train my construction skills, just a little thing in part of our newly formed township, New Calontir. New Calontir has many allies from trade and mutual agreements. So, while I was working on building our pallisade walls, one of our Allies, Kasher Flamedragon, leader of the nearby Dragons Fire settlement and our ally from the beginning(as we had no iron nearby and he lived atop an iron mine, but couldn't hunt easily due to being on a mountain), comes sprinting in, reporting that a man had just knocked him out, stolen his horse, and stolen his armor. Two people had done this actually. Snow, and Gustav. I had traded with them in the past, they were the leading figures in the fish mongers guild. I got straight to work showing why you dont FUCK with Calontir's allies. First, I sicced the most elite knights in the known world on them, the Shire Knights. Who ran them down and slaughtered them as they sparred. I then challenged them to a duel, fought between me and Gustav, as leaders of our towns. He agreed. We would be on equal footing, with the same armor and weapons. A large crowd gathered in New Calontir to see the fight, most of the server. They arrived on horseback, atop black mounds of muscle and anger. Warhorses. The terms of the duel were simple. It was to the death, equal weapons and armor, winner took two horses from the losing side. We fought for a long time, me taking a huge amount of damage in the first half of the fight. While bleeding out from multiple axe cuts, I cornered him and cut him down, axe xleaving through chain mail armor. Gustav dead, Snow slowly walked up to me in utter disbelief, and handed me the reins to both horses. That I promptly gave to those he had stolen from in the first place. Teas AWESOME.
