The Russians have in more recent times, but the Nagant is the only one that actually makes sense, given that there weren't quality semi-automatics at the time.

Revolvers still make sense, even in situations where a suppressor would be useful, their reliability is still far greater than any semi-automatic when in harsh conditions.

Covert KGB-but-not-really-KGB-because-Putin operations in a desert environment for example.

That's a myth. Revolvers are far easier to break than semi-autos, and unless you buy garbage guns, semi-autos work just as well.

But in context, the extra work and drawbacks to making a suppressible revolver mean they don't make sense for that purpose relative to a semi.
