In my experience, the main draw of revolvers is that semi-autos get powder buildup EVERYWHERE. Which is only an issue if you're like me and prefer cleaning your guns after any trip to the range.

I dunno. Powder near the chamber & muzzle vs. powder literally everywhere including inside the lockwork. Also, being able to properly take the gun apart for cleaning without a screwdriver is kind of a plus.

Maybe. Odd though, with my revolver I haven't had that much of an issue. Mainly just in and around the cylinder gap and chambers, in contrast to my semi-auto getting powder in every nook and cranny of the receiver, bolt, magazine well, the magazine follower, over a good portion of the stock... :V

Take off the inspection plate and look in there.

And I'm guessing you're meaning a rifle. Semi pistols are far simpler, and .22s are inheriently pretty filthy.

Nagants are awful to shoot. And the cartridge is underpowered and most of the little features that Leon Nagant thought up to make it better weren't really all that important for a military sidearm. Honestly, they should've stuck with the S&W Model 3, .44 Russian's pretty alright when it comes to power, and inherently accurate, even if the Nagant's gas seal increases accuracy or whatever it was for.
(OH RIGHT AND I FORGOT, FUCK THE LOADING. LIKE, THIS THING WAS MADE FOR CAVALRY. HOW WERE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO THAT ON THE FIELD?)

The Nagant is stronger (though yeah, that's not really needed), and far cheaper to make. The latter is why only cavalry got the 3. I'm fairly sure S&W ran into the same problems as Remington in that the russians couldn't always pay them, too. Nagants are a pain in the ass to load when you're standing still on solid ground.

It's one of the few guns I've owned and gotten rid of with absolutely no regrets.

you can(in the US) 3d print all but one part of a gun, and someone has made a 3d printed AR that has cycled six hundred rounds so 3d printed guns are actually viable. All of this according to a documentary I can't seem to find on youtube at the moment though so grain of salt.

Well you can 3D print a gun anywhere, it's just not legal in a lot of places. 3D printed guns do work though but not when you're printing a piece of shit that never worked in the first place.
I have a hatred for Zip Guns because they got all hyped and then were a massive letdown.
