The SurvivorsAaron
You limp up the stairs, and reach the second floor. From there, you hobble over to the nearest window and peer into the night. You see shapes moving in the dark, out in the distance. More closely, however, you see someone climbing up the fire escape. They're clad in some very high-tech looking armor and they've got a similarly high-tech laser rifle in their possession. They're a few feet below you, but your banging around inside has alerted you of your coming, and you lack the element of surprise.
You gather your wits and take aim at the soldier below you.

DODGE (0) [Critical failure!] vs HIT (7). Hit! DAMAGE (9) [Critical hit!]. Oh god.
Your 9mm bullet flies from the barrel, and you perfectly hit the solder right between his leg plate and his knee protector. The bullet blows through the back of his leg, and blood gushes from the hole.
You draw your sword, feeling its familiar weight in your hand. Flicking it open with ease, you gather your wits and leap out the window.
DODGE (2) vs HIT (0) [Critical failure!] Miss!
You fly past the mercenary and his fire escape, and instead get to watch two stories of apartment fly past you. You land -hard- on the sidewalk.
Your left shoulder is twisted from its socket, and your vision spins. Your sword clatters from your grasp onto the concrete.
HollandYou strap your hammer to your back, and take careful aim with your borrowed automatic hot lead dispenser from the floor. You've got this door on lock.
The LaboratoryYour curiosity guides you, and you follow the suited man down many winding hallways, and while this maze might've confused a lesser man, your cheese-sharpened mind keeps expert track of the winding passageways and you know exactly how to get out even without your guide.
The man stops at an unmarked, windowless door in a particularly well-lit hallway, and pushes it open. You both enter. The scene before you is something strange, as if ripped straight from the ramblings of a madman. The room looks like it was once a normal, large laboratory. One large counter runs the perimeter of the room and different and arcane apparatuses stand haphazardly in the middle of the room. However, this room has been... Altered. The floor is nearly covered in a fine spread of dried blood and rotting flesh, and it reeks of death. The apparatuses in the room appear to be dissection tables. Many still have mutated corpses lying cut open on the benches, entrails pouring out onto the floor. Some of them are hanging on meat spikes, dangling from the ceiling. Along the walls, papers and papers featuring pencil drawings of complex formulas and chemical diagrams are taped and hung. The counters that aren't littered with organs have some glass beakers and flasks filled with yellow, viscous liquid.
Your dear, sweet, beloved host leans over and whispers into your ear,
"I only need a vial of your blood. Then this can all be over."The Rescue TeamMarcusAs you get the ladder down and begin ascending, one of the survivalists appears in a second story window above you! He fires a shot from his pistol, and
it explodes through your right knee! The world turns red, and you start to have tunnel vision as you lose your grip on the ladder and fall to the dirt, blood gushing from your right leg.
PegrigriniusYou send your order to Two-Paw, and it bwoop-bwoops in reply. The cannon winds up its shot, and fires! The door is completely reduced to sawdust! STUN (

There is a shape behind the door of a man lying prone, and you're certain you've just suppressed the HELL out of that guy.
