The Rescue Team
The Beach
Two-Paw's exhaust deflectors suddenly perk up, and the pulse jets activate *SHCOOOOOOM* as it sprints down from where you are to the bits of wreckage, covering the distance in a blindingly fast pace. You're covered in a fine layer of sand kicked up by the eager mecha, and follow it, albiet at a slower pace.

You reach the debris. Twisted bits of hull dot the sand, surrounding one enormous emergency cryo pod. You recognize your employer's logo printed in lines along the pod's exterior. The pod's glass door lies half submerged in the ocean a few feet away, and it is quite apparent that the pod does not contain your sought-after VIP.

Two-Paw beeps and boops and then jumps into the ocean, suddenly sprouting a scintillating set of sensors into the salty sea. After a few seconds, your AI beeps over the radio. "It is apparent that the ship has crashed a few miles off shore. The only confirmed life sign found is that of the open cryogenic storage pod. Recommend locating the VIP that had occupied the pod."

Looking around, you notice a curious set of prints, half buried by Two-Paw's sudden arrival at the site. It looks as though maybe three or four people were doing a lot of walking around the area. Three sets of footprints approach the pod, and four sets leave it. There is also a set of a four-legged animal prints, maybe belonging to a dog or a very large cat. The prints leave towards the grass and onto the street, and no long appear once they reach the asphalt. They generally point in the direction of the large residential district.

The Survivors
Aaron
Vae accepts the soup, face souring at the sight of the Spaghetti-Os. She does not say anything further, however, and sits down on the lobby counter to begin eating. By the speed at which she's going you could gauge she was pretty hungry, but she's slowing herself as to not make a mess.

You ascend back to the apartment, and tidy the place up. After a few minutes the place actually looks like it used to, and you reward yourself by flopping down on the old couch. The quiet of the dead city outside is only broken by the gentle shifting of the curtains as they blow back and forth by the gentle evening breeze.

Holland
You sit down in your guard's chair as Vae receives her soup, and sits a ways away on the counter. The cannon appears to be structurally sound, and taking a closer look, you try and pry open one of the side panels. After some tugging, you manage to get it open, but at the same moment, you lose your grip on the weapon and it falls to the floor! You hear something shatter, and bits of shiny glass fall out of the access panel. Vae jumps a little and nearly drops her soup when the gun hits the floor.

A Lost Sheep
The person slowly, shakily, lowers the gun. Once it's pointing at the floor, they stumble over to the office chair and fall into it. They lie there, like a ragdoll, for a couple moments before you hear them start... Laughing? The noise starts soft, and grows to a snicker and then to a uneven, stuttering chuckle as the person just laughs and laughs from the office chair. "Heheh... Heh- Hah! Heh... Hoo, hee heheheh..." and then, softly, "It can talk..."
