Alright so I chewed it over, digested the thought, and I'd like to reboot this with any characters that would like to play.

I might just get rid of the "Dead Family" plotline and just let that be a motivation for your character. We'll still be in Gold Rush California but the goals might differ on which cowboy it is, although I'll still limit it to three people.
