Utterly Mad

JC:
Carl quietly gives you an "ok" gesture, and stands at the door, keeping an eye out.

You enter the house. A place which you rarely get to enter.
The interior is fancier than anything in the huts, with clean furniture made from actual wood, rather than the scrap you use.

While it's interesting to look at, you notice that there's items strewn across the floor, making it seem like the family left in a rush. Most of the important stuff like food and supplies are gone too.

Could it be that they left at night, when you tired farmhands slept as much as you could before it was time to work again?

Carl whispers in through the door;
"What do you see?"

Zaweri:
You start to move towards the fortified farmstead.
But halfway there, you spot a golem slowly and steadily approach it.

Those things aren't to play with, but you could still get there before it does.

Sammy vs. Griffin:
Griffin goes all-in, and jumps out of cover to attack Sammy.

Sammy, ready for such a tactic, empties the magazine at him the moment he does.

About 14 of the 25 bullets find their mark.

Griffin can do little but slump to his knees, struggling to breathe through his torn lungs; world looking pretty grey now.

Griffin's as good as dead, and nothing can save him. But Sammy could give him a faster end to things, if she wish to do so.

Graham:
While doing so would seem appropriate at this time, it hurts a bit to much to move right now.
((And doing so would be a wee bit unfair, wouldnt it? It's a shame forrest can't reply, yes; but what can you do...))

All the air escaped JC's lungs as he saw the sight. "T-those bastards, those fucking bastards they knew.", he thought to himself. He rushed to Carl and told him, "Organize the people up here get them inside the house, tell them it's a town meeting! NOW!"

Sammy:
You reload, and leave Griffin to his death.

You then walk up behind the halftrack, with a clear view of the scared recruits inside.
There's no resistace worth mentioning, and all you'd need is a clever one-liner as you empty another clip into the halftrack.

Soon there's only corpses around.

The doors to the tower opens, and the geckos return from the planting.
The elder shouts;
"COME ON! THIS TOWER'S COMING DOWN!"
You note that there's noticable less geckos left.

JC:
After a bunch of loud calls from Carl, the entire farmhand workforce arrives reluctantly to the house. All 7 of them.
"What are we doing in here? And where's the head?"

Griffin:
Breathing's getting really hard, and you can only see blurs all around.
You breathe in...
And out...
Then you can't get another little gust of air down anymore.

You close your eyes, and fall head-first into the mud.

You are dead.

Zaweri:
You look at the golem. It's slowly moving towards the farmstead.
Other than that, It's not doing much else than scanning the ground around it.

Zaweri goes to the other farmsteads instead, not wanting to risk the golem.

JC steadies himself, this isn't the first time he's had to do a motivational speech for his farm hands. "Our masters have abandoned us due to a looming danger that's been growing outside our walls. As you know those Golems have been on a fast approach towards us and our masters promised us shelter or protection from that. We thought we would be able to avoid conflict but it seems that even in this world conflict is something we cannot escape. But I ask of you not to take up arms, we need to find a place to hold out at this house is very old and should have some form of a way out. I need all of you to comb this place out from top to bottom to find anything that we can hide in or escape through." He steadies himself and looks at Carl. "If worse comes to worse we'll flee into the jungles and find a safer way into the city. But I promise you that I will get you all out of here, no matter how tough it gets."

Bile crept in JC's throat, he realized he made a promise that he wouldn't be able to keep.

Zaweri goes for the one near the river.

As Sammy is running into cover to begin her sneakiness into town, she checks her PDA to see why its buzzing.

Then she'll begin her trek back to town.
