DUST: Tribes (OOC)

The NCR has abandoned The Mojave. The Brotherhood has abandoned The Capital Wastes. There's still people there, they're trying to survive, make settlements; colonies. You're one a leader of one of these colonies.

Equipment:Except the normal tools,he uses a modified version of a pickaxe,which is like a pickaxe on one side,but on the other it's an axe  (Unique tools to your character, like weapons and rucksacks. Makeshift if preferable, I'll let you know if it's not preferable.)
Clothing/Armor:Makeshift Armor and some wood (It'd be preferable if it was makeshift, of course no power armor.)

Uh, Max, I don't understand the description, also remove the stuff in parentheses, and be more descriptive. What wasteland are you in? The Mojave? The Capital wastes? choose one.

Culture: Based on the books of Ancient rome, the new leader was elected through gladiator fights. He who won, would be pronounced the Son of Mars. Few know of their leader's ghoulification.

Equipment: An extremely large two handed sword that no ordinary man could wield. Made out of pieces of a car.
Clothing/Armor: Chest armor made out of layered kitchen tiles and a stop sign. Arm and leg armor is made from metal shingles.

Colony's Name: The Half-Life
Culture: A war-like band of Raiders who kill others as much as each other. The weak are culled and the strong dominate. They worship the Dividing Fire who brought ruined to the weak society and let man unleash his inner fire.
Description: They live on top of crumbling highways where they can be closest to the fire. The leave their defended homes to kill, loot, and make that sweet sweet love.
There is probably no more terrible instance of enlightenment than the one in which you discover your father is a man — with human flesh.

Equipment: A Winchester lever-action rifle, chambered in .45 Long Colt, carved with tribal faces and legends. A giant homemade revolver, extremely heavy, chambered for a large blackpowder cartridge Marked One makes himself. (More pending)
Clothing/Armor: A long brown leather duster, the flaps kept closed by a dozen belts buckled around Marked One's torso. The hood covers most of his face, leaving only his tattooed chin and lower lip visible most of the time.

Colony's Name: Painted Hides

Culture: The Painted Hides are a large tribe of many trades. They make their own crude weapons, grasp the concept of improvised bombs, and even craft ammunition. They feed themselves through hunting and farming, sometimes raiding other tribes or groups, but only when provoked. Painted Hide culture is centered around an individual's tribal tattoos. Tattoos denote prestige, number of kills, and respective trade within the Painted Hides. They believe in spirits of the wilderness, and are relatively friendly to newcomers, though none shall be allowed into their fort. 

Description: A semi-advanced tribe living out of a trailer park. The trailers have been rearranged to surround the large central park, there being enough to have a two-trailer-high wall surrounding the entire encampment. Plywood bridges connect the rusty old things, and large tents of rawhide fill the whole area. Patches of Nevada agave, prickly pear cactus, and maize grow in relatively crude farming fields. Women, children, and elderly people spend most of their time within the walls. Young men patrol the trailer-wall to keep the settlement safe, and more experienced warriors venture out to hunt animals and kill bandits. Most are armed with firearms of some sort, along with melee weapons to back them up or finish off wounded foes.

sorry for the double post AND the fact that I failed to post after breakfast, and failed to come up with something before now.

Name: Two Tongues
Age: early middle age, by the looks of him.
Gender: male
Traits: [quiet] [silver tongue] [alcoholic]

Equipment: A canvas bag with a small collection of books about various cultural mythologies, mostly Native American, the bag is mostly held together with fishing line. Makeshift knife (copper tubing splayed open and beaten into shape, rag wrapped for a handle.) Hide canteen, dirty water. makeshift flask, half full of mysterious alcohol. (old whiskey bottle. the neck has been broken off, and someone has taken the care to sand down the sharp edges and place a cork in it. alcohol is of an incredibly cheap variety.) roll of fishing line and a pair of bone needles.
Clothing/armor: pre-war jeans, mostly held together with fishing line. Simple hide vest, mostly held together with fishing line. Dust mask. headband taken from an NCR helmet, pins that were once on it have been thrown away.

Tribes name: Wandering eyes
Culture: Nomadic "bards"
Description: The wandering eyes are descended from America's oldest inhabitants. Their tribal heritage is long lost and their blood line has been mostly bred out of them, but still they strive to live as their ancestors did long ago. They mostly travel the wastes surviving, spreading the old stories of their people, learning the new stories of those they encounter, and trying to reclaim some fragment of was taken from them before the great war.

Cannibalism is abhorrent to the Wandering eyes, death by starvation/dehydration being a far preferable/honorable option. The Wandering eyes as a tribe do not worry overmuch about the problems of others, as individuals though, they will sometimes go out of their way to assist others. The wandering eyes are adept in the ways of movement and moving without being seen. The wandering eyes are expected by their tribe to learn various stories, and learn the various ways of speaking. The Wandering eyes care little for money, seeing knowledge both new and old as a far more valuable asset, this being said, they still know the necessity of money. Every Wandering eye is expected to carry a knife, and know how to use it, this being said, they are not an overly violent people and will usually attempt to avoid conflict by simply avoiding others until intent is known. The Wandering eyes are a somewhat pious people.
