Trolls-
The Trolls are a powerful race, and upon their landfall into this new continent, they set about quickly to ready themselves for the trials ahead. They do this by starting a gathering of materiel. Wood, stone, and thatch are easy enough finds, though they require slightly larger homes because of their size. The gathering of Tar proves to be difficult at first, however a small patch of black and gooey liquid is soon found nearby, surrounded by dead and dying plants.

It is found that this liquid is quite sticky, and it forms an excellent glue for the further constructions. They begin a rapid construction of homes, a true testament to their strength as it takes half as many Trolls as other races to do heavy lifting such as heaving up walls. Their roofing is a bit rougher, due to their large and clumsy fingers, but it seems sufficient in warding away the elements.

The construction of tools amongst the Trolls is limited slightly as many of them do not truly understand such undertakings, especially after losing many of the better crafttrolls during the Plague. They set out constructing several clubs and a few basic spears however.

The animals found about the Troll lands seem to match their inhabitants, they are massive beings, the stags size up to the size of men and weigh as much as twice that of a normal deer. The Trolls are quick to down such beings with their martial prowess, and soon trophies are being distributed amongst the colony in the form of antlers and hides. The Trolls are inquisitive of their other natural surroundings as well, however, their dull curiosity means that discovering newer plants sometimes involves tasting them. It is found that a nearby red and spotted berry is highly poisonous after a Troll ingests a single one, and promptly falls dead.

A hard pear like fruit is also found, it seems to retain thistles about it and is quite hard to grasp or hold due to this. To be cooked, it is required to be bashed with a hard instrument, and then when it is in many pieces it may be placed upon a fire and cooked.  [Feel free to name these plants and animals.]

Catarra-
This new world brings about a change which is unheard of for your people. Used to their lush and thriving jungles, they find themselves trapped in a sort of arctic nightmare. Thankfully, their natural fur coats keep many of them from freezing to death as well as the shelter of the boats, but it becomes quickly obvious that the local terrain is harsh and life, therefore must be harsher. Many bare looking trees dot the landscape, and the gathering of wood from them is easy, however several seem to be too weak to truly use as planks, and are instead converted into firewood. Stone deposits are found throughout the hills, it is easy to take the rocks and roll them to the ships for use.

The ships are rapidly scuttled for their precious materials such as Wood and Cloth. They take these materials and begin to form a large temporary tent camp until further orders are given to them on where to begin building more permanent structures. Many of the Catarra complain at night of strange noises far off in the deathly briars that surround the woods.

Elves-
The Elves upon first glance seem to have some of the closest terrain to a true paradise and they rejoice in their choice of land. The area is abundant in plant and animal life, however, it is very abundant in plant and animal life. The Elves struggle to clear paths through the woods to grab wood and stone. The animals are usually quite healthy and quick, and not terribly easy to down, however the quick production of bows from the remains of former kills make such tasks much simpler.

They begin to rapidly capture wild hogs and cattle, forcing the unruly and tough beasts into pastures where they are held with moderate difficulty. Due to the Elves being Elves however, the animals are more rapidly broken of some of their harsher wild features than would be possible through other races. They go about creating a form of wood and stone mixture, which although useful in terms of mixing production, is also rather difficult to use as a true mixture as it is slightly uneven and very roughly held together.

Elves report sightings of very large beings throughout the woods, as far as sources can tell, they are scaly and possibly reptilian. They also appear to go about on four legs.

Avians-
Avians, being the bird people they are, are quite quick in going to a higher ground. In this case, a mountain. They dismantle their ships rapidly, and through a series of highly coordinated flying and quite a lot of hard trudging, move the materials up to the mountain, albeit, it is quite a slow process.

It is much quicker for the Avians to set up some tent shelters using pieces of the ships, and it is not horribly difficult for them to set up basic treehouses along many of the higher up trees. The Avians then split off into two groups of miners and woodcutters. The woodcutters have a very slow time of clearing the first few trees, which seem to stretch high up into the sky, though, they gradually begin to create a path down in the general direction of the beach.

The miners have a much easier time of things, and discover several caves and caverns littering the mountain. Inside of these they find ample deposits of easily mined or already broken off stone pieces which are quickly transported back to the colony. It is of note however, that a certain pair of miners seem to disappear with no trace found of them.

Spriggans-
The short and strange Spriggan boats continue to live up to their names when, through a series of strange alchemical reactions caused by a liquid which was apparently packed with the Spriggans, the boats are converted out of being boats and are instead warped and biologically shaped into workshops and structures. The liquid runs out rather rapidly as more structures are created, but it seems to have served it's purpose in giving the short Spriggans the jumpstart they need to begin life in a new world.

The Spriggans however seem to be quite the masters of biological shaping, and soon begin growing plants which they turn into basic bows. Arrowheads are carved out of stone with relative ease, and the bows are quickly produced. They seem to be weaker structurally than the average wooden bow, but they take much less time to produce, which may have been the Spriggan plan all along. They begin taking of various herbs and plantlife that they discover around them. One plant; a bright orange and elongated plant similar to a cucumber, when ingested, seems to blind the user in one eye, while improving the vision of the other eye exponentially. The effects last for only a couple of hours while the thing is being digested.

The Spriggans take notice of a local nearby pit filled to the brim with deadly vipers, serpents, and snakes of every kind. They seem to writhe about in the hole as though it is a home for all of them, though the obvious killing and fighting amongst some of the snakes shows that they are most definitely not actually an intelligent being.

-------------------------------
Humans-
Humans begin the new era of their Vaasaka Empire upon a seemingly chilly and lightly forested area. Humans, having no true natural abilities like many of the other races, act in a sort of desperation, united by their need for survival and their intense desire for it, potentially a feeling greater in humanity than in any other Descendant. They work quickly through this need to live, digging away at dirt and stone with a fierceness about their motions.

In just a short while, they have moved away the dirt and stone, piling it up just outside of their stairway. It is far enough up the beach that the water cannot reach it, but that the beach is still most definitely in sight and is only a very short walk away to their boats. The Humans, unlike the other races, take their boats and tie them up upon the shores, using heavy boulders taken from the digging to anchor the ships into place.

Humans, having been in their fierce desperate need to live, do still take notice of what appear to be large bursts of water emerging from the ocean every now and again. As of yet, they cannot make out what is causing these powerful sprays of water.
